CHARLOTTE () — A 25-year-old woman may be in danger, according to Matthews Police and the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons. An Ashanti Alert has been issued for 25-year-old Amber Marie Tibbits. This means police have evidence of physical endangerment, abduction, or kidnapping. Tibbits is described as a white woman standing 5'4″ tall, weighing about 140 pounds. She has brown eyes and long brown hair down to the middle of her back. She may be wearing black pants and a multi-colored shirt. $15,000 reward offered in Catawba County mass shooting investigation Logan William Calaway, 23, is suspected in Tibbits's disappearance. He is described as a white man standing 5'10' tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He is thought to be wearing a dark green hoodie. Police believe Tibbits may have been taken in the Wells Fargo parking lot at 1401 Matthews Mint Hill Road in Matthews. This is near East Independence Boulevard and Matthews-Mint Hill Road. The public is asked to be on the lookout for a dark gray or black BMW sedan with a North Carolina license plate. Authorities did not know the license plate number of the BMW. The preliminary investigation shows that the victim and suspect are known to each other, police said. Anyone with information should call Detective L. Emilia Deluca Johnson was last seen leaving her home on Fourth Street in Spencer. However, it is unknown where she was heading. She drives a 2012 gray Nissan Maxima with a North Carolina license plate that reads EDH7504. She sometimes will not communicate verbally and will often stare into space. A Missing Endangered Alert has been issued for 68-year-old Clifford John Tolbert, who is thought to be impacted by a cognitive impairment. Tolbert was last seen in the 4100 block of River Road in Burke County. He may be headed to Abington Road in Caldwell County, but it is possible he is traveling to a different location. NCDMVs expand hours as Real ID deadline looms Tolbert is described as a white man standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 164 pounds. He is balding on the top but has long gray hair, typically in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve button-up shirt, blue jeans, brown boots and clear-rimmed glasses tied with a shoestring. Tolbert may be driving a burgundy 2005 KIA Sorento with the NC license plate KBL-6317. The car may have damage to the driver's side. LILLINGTON, N.C. (WNCN) — The Harnett County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that two people were arrested after a 15-year-old girl was found following a statewide Amber Alert. Sheriff Wayne Coats said in a press conference Thursday afternoon that 31-year-old Elihue Martin Mahler and 23-year-old Austyn Lee Cole were arrested in connection to this incident. They have both been charged with the following: felony human trafficking of a child victim felony kidnapping felony conspiracy to kidnap felony conspiracy human trafficking On Tuesday, deputies with the Harnett County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Storey Acres Road in Spring Lake around 7:28 a.m. The teen's mother stated she had last seen her daughter around 6 a.m. Missing Harnett County teen girl found, sheriff's office says; Amber Alert canceled According to emergency radio traffic, her mother said she was going to get her water bottle out of the car and never came back in. The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued an Amber Alert on Wednesday at 10:46 a.m. Sheriff Coats said that the victim was found early Thursday morning in Dare County. Though she was found with no injuries, the teen was transported to the hospital for an evaluation. The sheriff said that cellular analysis and social media review were used to locate the teen along with the two suspects. Philip VanWyngarden with the FBI said that the suspects initially interacted with the teen online. VanWyngarden did not give details of the connection with the victim and the suspects but said that 'no minor goes willingly' in incidents like this. 'Any time you have a minor engaging with a predator online and they do something in the real world, or for that matter they do something online, they're minors. They are victims.
