3 hospitalized in stabbing, shooting outside North Hollywood Metro station
Three people were hospitalized after a violent altercation outside a Metro station in North Hollywood Saturday night. Los Angeles police responded to a shooting at the intersection of Lankershim and Chandler Boulevards at 6:18 p.m. Officers found two victims who had been stabbed by a suspect at the scene. Gunfire was reportedly exchanged and the suspect was shot. All three were transported to the hospital in critical condition. Video from the scene showed the busy entrance to the North Hollywood Metro station cordoned off by police tape as officers investigated the scene. 'I've seen a lot of things happen here, but this may be the worst one so far,' said Jeff Finn, who lives across the street from the station. Crowds of commuters and pedestrians could be seen gathering at the site as police wheeled the victims into an ambulance. The circumstances leading up to the violent confrontation remain unclear. Two hospitalized in North Hollywood shooting, stabbing
One person was arrested in connection to a shooting and stabbing in North Hollywood that left two people hospitalized on Saturday. The incident occurred at around 6:20 p.m. near Lankershim Boulevard and Chandler Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers arrived to find two victims, one of whom was suffering from a stab wound and the other from a gunshot wound. Both were taken to nearby hospitals in unknown condition. Circumstances remain scarce, but police also said that one person was in custody.
