Police investigate Waterloo vehicle break-ins

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a series of thefts in a Waterloo neighbourhood.
Nine vehicle break-ins were reported in the Northdale area between May 18 and June 8.
Cash, licence plates, personal identification and bank cards were stolen.

On May 25, sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., a vehicle was broken into inside a parking garage on Regina Street North. The thieves took several debit and credit cards.
Police said several of those cards were later used to purchase items at unnamed stores in Waterloo.
On Tuesday, police released images of a person they hope to identify as part of their investigation into the May 25 incident.
They also urged car owners to keep their vehicles locked and ensure valuables are not left in plain sight.
