Norwalk man busted with 150 grams of suspected cocaine, $20K in cash
NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — A Norwalk man was arrested Monday after police say they found about 150 grams of suspected cocaine, more than $20,000 in cash, and two firearms in his apartment.
Melvin Colon, 34, was charged with nearly a dozen firearm and narcotics offenses, including five counts of possession of narcotics, five counts of sale of narcotics, and operation of a drug factory.

The charges stem from an investigation that began in January, when the Norwalk Police Department Special Services Division started looking into complaints of drug deals on the 200 block of Wilson Avenue.
Four search warrants and five arrest warrants were obtained for Colon, the resident of an apartment in the area. They also secured five separate arrest warrants for narcotics sales.
Colon was taken into custody in a parking lot near his residence on June 2. During the arrest, police said two baggies of suspected cocaine were found on him.

Colon was held on a combined $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 16.
