'I want to do that' – Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski reveals big basketball ambitions while hinting his next pursuit

has big plans for himself in the near future, which include becoming an Olympian as well as an All-Star. Even though the team made it to the Western Conference Semifinals, they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 5 games, with the final lead being 4-1, favoring the latter team.
Despite the disappointing loss, Brandin seems quite confident about his
next pursuit
and reveals his plans in a recent interview.
Brandin Podziemski aims to become an All-Star, expresses his desire to win the championship for his team
Nicknamed the Podz, Brandin Podziemski played college basketball for the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Santa Clara Broncos. He was selected by the Golden State Warriors as the nineteenth overall pick of the 2023 NBA draft and signed a contract with them in July 2023. Ever since he stepped into the world of professional basketball, Bandin started making a name for himself.
He became the first Warriors rookie to score 20+ points, 10+ rebounds and 5+ assists in a single game.
Brandin continued to create history as he set another record as the first rookie to score 9+ rebounds, 6+ assists, 5+ steals and 3+ 3 pointers in a single game.
Even though the Warriors had to exit from the 2024-25 season, after being eliminated by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the conference semifinals, Brandin ended his season run with an average score of 11.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

Post the season run, the Warriors' shooting guard, in a recent episode of the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, revealed his next plans.
'I want to be an All-Star.' Brandin stated, 'As soon as I can be — whether that's with Steph and them here, or it's when they're done. I want to do that.'
He also revealed his desire to play in the Olympics, 'I want to be an Olympian in 2028. Definitely something I have my sights on. And I just want to be a household name, somewhere where it can be me and a bunch of other guys winning a championship. That'd be kind of ideal for me'

Brandin has scored a career high of 29 points in the Warriors' match against the Utah Jazz, while his career high number of rebounds stand at 13 against the Dallas Mavericks. The match also witnessed the first double-double of the season from the player. The Young athlete is quite enthusiastic about his next steps and aims to win the championship for his team.
