In the Now You See Me Now You Don't trailer, Jesse Eisenberg's character gathers a team of young illusionists to steal a heart-shaped diamond from a wealthy family.
The first official trailer for Now You See Me Now You Don't has finally dropped online. The upcoming instalment brings back original stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco, as the Four Horsemen. Alongside the OGs, a new generation of magicians will help them perform mind-blowing tricks. In the trailer, Eisenberg's character, Daniel Atlas, gathers a team of young illusionists for 'a trick that is bigger and better than anything you've ever seen." Their mission is to steal a priceless 'heart diamond" from a wealthy family. But as always, the team needs backup, which brings Franco's Jack Wilder, Harrelson as Merritt McKinney and Henley Reeves, played by Fisher, back into the action.
The series, which started in 2013, follows four magicians who use magic and illusion tricks to do daring heists. But instead of stealing for themselves, they pass the money to people who need help. Along with Eisenberg, Harrelson, Franco and Fisher, the new movie will also see the return of Mark Ruffalo as Dylan Rhodes and Morgan Freeman as Thaddeus Bradley.
The previous film, Now You See Me 2, was released back in 2016, and since then, fans have been waiting for a sequel. The trailer for the third instalment hints that all the new and old magicians will come together for their biggest heist in the franchise.
According to Variety, when the first look of Now You See Me Now You Don't was unveiled at CinemaCon earlier this month, a fourth movie was confirmed by Lionsgate's Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson. He said, 'We were so happy with the director's cut, we're already developing the next chapter. We can't wait for audiences to discover what he's done with the third film and thrilled he'll be making even more magic with us."
Admiring the director, Adam added, 'Ruben Fleischer has delivered all of the twists and turns and sleight-of-hand that audiences expect from this franchise while upping the stakes and scale in every way. We can't wait for audiences to discover what he's done with the third film and are thrilled he'll be making even more magic with us."
Now You See Me Now You Don't reunites Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson with Ruben Fleischer, who previously directed Zombieland in 2009.
