Oman's Sayyid Asaad Engages in High-Level Talks at GCC-ASEAN Summit
By OMAN NEWS AGENCY (ONA) Kuala Lampur, Malaysia – On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, H H Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, lead delegation to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and ASEAN summits held in the Malaysian capital on Monday. The high-level meetings focused on strengthening strategic and economic ties between the ten-member ASEAN bloc and the GCC, with Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim highlighting their significance for long-term regional and global cooperation. On the sidelines of the summits, His Highness Sayyid Asaad held talks with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, reviewing the progress of bilateral relations and discussing prospects for enhanced cooperation between Oman and Cambodia. The two also exchanged views on key topics raised during the summits. The meeting was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness and senior Cambodian officials.

Sayyid Asaad to lead delegation at GCC-ASEAN meets in Malaysia
By OMAN NEWS AGENCY (ONA) Muscat – On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, H H Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, will head to Malaysia on Monday leading Oman's delegation at the GCC-ASEAN Summit and the GCC-ASEAN-China Summit. The summits will be held on Tuesday in Kuala Lumpur. H H Sayyid Asaad will be accompanied by an official delegation comprising Dr Saud Hamoud al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Saeed Hamood al Mawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Dr Said Mohammed al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Sheikh Khalifa Ali al Harthy, Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs in Foreign Ministry, and Sheikh Abbas Ibrahim al Harthy, Ambassador of Oman to Malaysia, besides Sheikh Khalifa Hamad al Badi and Saif Ahmed al Sawafi, officials of his office.

Oman, Russia eye stronger cooperation
By OMAN NEWS AGENCY (ONA) Moscow, Russia – An official reception ceremony was held at Kremlin Palace in Moscow on Tuesday for His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on the occasion of his state visit to the Russian Federation. President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation led the welcoming party for His Majesty the Sultan, wishing him and the official accompanying delegation a successful visit and a pleasant stay. Then, the Royal Anthem of Oman and the National Anthem of the Russian Federation were played, followed by His Majesty the Sultan shaking hands with senior officials from the Russian side and President Putin shaking hands with members of the official accompanying Omani delegation. His Majesty the Sultan and the Russian President held a cordial meeting and an official session of talks at Kremlin Palace. The session discussed the march of the advanced relations between Oman and Russia, as well as their fruitful cooperation and ways of promoting relations in various spheres to serve joint interests. The two leaders also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and global developments. Putin hosts working lunch in H M's honour President Putin hosted a working lunch in honour of His Majesty the Sultan at Kremlin Palace in Moscow on Tuesday. The banquet was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and several Russian officials.

H M Sultan Haitham begins state visit to Russia
By OMAN NEWS AGENCY (ONA) Moscow, Russia – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in Moscow on Monday evening on a two-day state visit to the Russian Federation. An official reception was held at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow in a warm welcome for His Majesty the Sultan. His Majesty the Sultan was received at the foot of the ramp by Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development, officials of the Russian Federation and members of the Omani Embassy in Moscow. His Majesty Sultan Haitham was received by Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development, at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow on Monday After that, His Majesty the Sultan inspected the Guard of Honour and proceeded to the dais of honour when the Royal Anthem of Oman and the National Anthem of the Russian Federation were played. His Majesty the Sultan will be accorded an official reception on Tuesday at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow. His Majesty the Sultan will meet President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation when the two leaders will conduct official talks. Visit to Tomb of the Unknown Soldier His Majesty the Sultan lays a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden in Red Square Later in the evening on Monday, His Majesty the Sultan visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden in Red Square, Moscow. Upon His Majesty the Sultan's arrival, he was received by Lt Gen Yevgeny Seleznev, Commandant of Moscow, and senior Russian officials. During the visit, His Majesty the Sultan placed a wreath of flowers at the memorial.

H M, Dutch PM exchange views on common concerns
By OMAN NEWS AGENCY (ONA) The Hague, Netherlands – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met Dick Schoof, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, at the headquarters of the Dutch parliament in The Hague on Wednesday. The meeting reviewed the historical relations between the two countries and ways of promoting these to serve interests of the Omani and Dutch peoples. It also discussed areas of economic and investment cooperation between the two sides. Furthermore, His Majesty the Sultan and the Dutch PM exchanged views on developments in global arena and touched on matters of common concern. Following the meeting, commemorative photos were taken of His Majesty the Sultan and PM Schoof with the King and Queen of the Netherlands. The meeting was attended by H H Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and Caspar Veldkamp, Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs.
