Pankaj Tripathi had replaced Paresh Rawal in the sequel to 'OMG - Oh My God!' It was being rumoured that Paresh was approached first to helm the sequel on his shoulders but the actor refused to be a part of it. Later, Pankaj Tripathi was brought on board. Now, Paresh Rawal has announced his sudden exit from the 'Hera Pheri' franchise. This had led to a huge disappointment among fans and Akshay Kumar's production house has filed a lawsuit of Rs 25 crore against the actor for his sudden exit after saying yes. The legal team also said that the film had begun shooting and then Paresh backed out of the project. Amidst this dispute, in a recent interview, Pankaj was asked if he will replace Paresh in ' Hera Pheri 3 ' as Baburao. Here's how Pankaj reacted when asked if he can get into Rawal's shoes this time around. The 'Criminal Justice' actor said, "I read and heard about fans wanting me to play that part. I don't think I can do it. Paresh Sir is an extraordinary actor, and I am nothing in front of him. I respect him immensely, and I don't think I am the right person for the job.' Meanwhile, Paresh made it clear that he did not leave the film due to creative differences as he shares a great bonding with director Priyadarshan . Meanwhile Suniel Shetty who plays Shyam in the franchise was also shocked with the news. The actor said in an interview with E24, "I am as shocked as you are. I spoke to him for only a second, and he asked to meet. We haven't been able to meet and talk yet. We have shot the trailer, so I don't know what happened. Otherwise, Paresh ji is not like this. He wouldn't have announced it on a public platform. I, Paresh ji and Akshay are united when it comes to Hera Pheri. He was quite charged."
