Housebuilder appoints new sales director for its Cumbria region
A housebuilder has announced the appointment of a new a sales director for its Cumbria region.
Gleeson Homes, which has its Cumbrian office in Penrith, has appointed Emma Sanderson to the role, bringing with her nine years of experience in the housebuilding industry and more than a decade in financial services.
She previously served as sales director at Oakmere Homes, where she helped grow the business from two developments to seven.
Frazer Thompson, regional managing director at Gleeson Homes, said: "I am delighted to be welcoming Emma to the team as sales director with her extensive industry track record and in-depth knowledge.
"Cumbria is a key area in Gleeson's regional network and has significant potential for growth.
"Emma will be instrumental in establishing a comprehensive sales capability in the region as we enter our next phase of growth and continue in our mission to provide affordable, high-quality homes."
Before entering the property sector, Ms Sanderson spent 13 years at HSBC as a premier manager.
In her new role with Gleeson, she will lead the sales function across Cumbria, working with the regional team to drive performance and support the company's growth plans.

Gleeson Homes specialises in building homes for first-time buyers and those on lower incomes.
