Sportico House at SXSW Will Include Andy Roddick, Deebo Samuel
Sportico, the premier destination for sports business news, is returning for a third straight year to South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, next month with an array of programming at the music, arts and technology fest.
Sportico will be hosting the Sportico House, a two-day event at Wanderlust Wine Co. starting March 11, bringing together the industry's top thought leaders for a high-quality mix of panel programming and networking opportunities. The live podcast stage will also be returning, with live tapings focused on the intersection of sports, media and business.

San Francisco 49ers star Deebo Samuel, former U.S. Open tennis champion Andy Roddick and other sports figures will be featured during the two-day event. In previous years, Sportico's sports programming has showcased industry leaders including TV personality Stephen A. Smith, former ESPN president John Skipper and Dallas Cowboys co-owner Charlotte Jones, as well as WNBA legend Lisa Leslie and NFL star Stefon Diggs.
Penske Media Corp., Sportico's parent company, has been curating SXSW since acquiring the festival in 2021. Other PMC brands will be active during SXSW week; Billboard is planning to feature music stars Koe Wetzel and Grupo Frontera, while She Media will showcase a star-studded lineup that includes Chelsea Handler, Naomi Watts and Sophia Bush. Variety is hosting a panel that includes actor Auli'l Cravalho, while Rolling Stone returns with its third-annual Future of Music showcase.
SXSW runs from Friday, March 7 until Saturday, March 15.
