Athens-Clarke police are attempting to locate a missing man who was last seen Saturday at his residence in west Athens.
Timothy Lamar, 54, was reported missing on Sunday after he was last seen on Saturday at the home on West Broad Street, according to police Detective Erik Ellison.
The person living in the residence reported to police she came home about 4 p.m. and Lamar was gone.
'He had left the residence without his cell phone or his medicine or clothes. Anything they would take if moving out or leaving. There has been no communications from him since then,' Ellison said Tuesday.
'She has no idea where he is or where mi might have gone,' he said.
Lamar does not have family in the Athens area as he is originally from the Milledgeville area, the detective said.
