Community Corner: AAPI to Host Echoes of the East Festival May 1
May marks AAPI Heritage Month— a time to recognize and celebrate the rich history, culture, and contributions of people of Asian and Pacific Islander the first of the month, the City of Savannah's Asian American and Pacific Islander Task Force in partnership with the Office of Multicultural Affairs at Georgia Southern University will host the Echoes of the East Gilliard, the organization's chair, sat down with WSAV's Kim Gusb in today's Community Corner to talk about the celebration and the diverse communities within the AAPI umbrella.
