Police investigating several shots fired at City of Erie home
Erie police responded to several reports of shots fired late Wednesday night.
This happened around 10:30 on Thursday night at the 10 block of West 29th Street.

Erie police said they received several notifications of the gunfire thanks to ShotSpotter technology as well as multiple 911 calls from people living in the area.
When officers arrived on scene, they were met with a home that was riddled with bullets.
Police indicated about nine shots were fired, and several shell casings were recovered nearby.

No one inside of that home was hurt and there weren't any other reports of injuries.
The case will now be handled by major crime scene detectives who will compile forensic evidence and review surveillance in the area.
