Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson shares unique names of twins after 10-week stay in hospital

Jesy Nelson and partner Zion Foster welcomed 'precious' twin girls last week. The Little Mix singer stayed in hospital for 10 weeks after being diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS). The condition occurs when one twin transfuses blood to the other twin through abnormal blood vessel connections in the placenta, leading to an imbalance of blood flow and nutrients, according to the John Hopkins website. Despite the risks, overjoyed new mother Nelson confirmed their safe arrival on Sunday, sharing photos of her and Foster cradling their babies in hospital. She wrote: 'So… Our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31 weeks plus 5 days. It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong! We've never felt more in love. 'Everybody meet Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster.' Friends of the couple flocked to her Instagram account to give their congratulations. 'Congratulations, I love you,' one fan wrote. 'Ahhhhh, I cannot wait to meet them both! Our beautiful girlies, love you all lots,' another wrote. 'Congratulations girl! I'm so happy for you both!!' yet another wrote. It was a happy end for the UK pop singer after she was forced to undergo an emergency operation due to TTTS in March, where she was told she would have to remain in hospital until week 32 of her pregnancy. TTTS can be fatal to one or both twins. Following the surgery, Jesy wrote: ''We feel so grateful and blessed that these little babies are still going strong.' Foster told Ok! Magazine the pair had bonded on a deeper level over the complications. 'I think it's at these times when you really, really know what love you have and what your relationship means,' he said. 'And I think for me and Jess, this has just taken it to a whole other level of us knowing we are literally made for each other.' Nelson rose to fame on X Factor, and the pop group Little Mix. She has been dating Foster since 2022. Recently, Foster ran the London marathon in support of the Twins Trust, which offers support to families of twins. 'I honestly didn't think I could love you any more than I already do Zion, but you made me and our babies the proudest,' she wrote, under a photo of him running. Nelson added: 'You had under four weeks to train for the London marathon, and you have worked your absolute bum off to be able to cross that finish line today while raising money for an amazing cause.'
