How to nominate your employer for the Courier Journal's 5th annual Top Workplaces program
Looking to show your employer some love? Now's your chance.
The Courier Journal will, for the fifth consecutive year, give awards to the Top Workplaces in the Louisville area, honoring individuals and organizations that create an extraordinary impact in their employees' lives and our community.
The nomination period for the program is open now through May 9. Any organization with 50 or more employees in the region is eligible to compete for a Top Workplaces award. Standout companies will be honored in fall 2025.
As you gear up to celebrate the 2025 Kentucky Derby, please take a moment to nominate and celebrate your employer too.
Anyone can nominate any organization, whether it is public, private, non-profit, a school, or even a government agency. To nominate an employer or for more information on the awards, just go to or call 502-416-0634.
There is no cost to participate. To qualify as a Louisville Top Workplace, employees evaluate their workplace using a short 25-question survey that takes a few minutes to complete. Companies will be surveyed through July.
Energage, the Pennsylvania-based research partner for the project, conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 65 markets nationwide and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in the past year.
With businesses across all industries and sectors bracing for economic uncertainty amid high inflation, on-again, off-again tariffs, and consumers becoming more conscious of spending, the recognition of a Top Workplaces award honors your employees for their dedication to the company mission, highlights your business in the community, and shows future employees how your company stacks up with competitors in the region.
In 2024, more than 1,000 public, private, non-profit, and government organizations in Greater Louisville were invited to participate in the Courier Journal's Top Workplaces. A record 27 organizations earned recognition as Top Workplaces.
"Earning a Top Workplaces award is a distinctive mark of excellence, setting companies apart in a recognizable way," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. "Top Workplaces embody the highest standards, and this award, rooted in authentic employee feedback, should be a point of immense pride."
