Olivia Wilde, 41, loves CeraVe, and its popular eye cream is on sale for just $11
Instagram feed, drugstore shelf or dermatologist office, you've probably seen a few products from CeraVe. The brand is known for gentle ingredients and budget-friendly price tags — like the CeraVe Eye Repair Cream. It's formulated to reduce dryness, the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. Another bonus? It's fragrance-free, hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic. Right now, you can get all of that for just $11, down from $20. CeraVe is one of those tried-and-true gems and, at $11, you can help turn back the hands of time without having to fork over hundreds for costly in-office treatments or intensive facials and peels. It's even on Yahoo Senior Beauty Editor Jenn Romolini's list of best eye creams, so you know it's good! When celebrities like Olivia Wilde rave about a beauty brand, we're all ears. "I use the cheapest possible skin care — not because it's cheap, but because it's the best," Wilde has said. "Dermatologists have recommended it for years, and I've never paid attention. But recently I started using Cetaphil cleanser and CeraVe moisturizer. They're gentle and simple." The formula's got heavy hitters: ceramides to restore, hyaluronic acid to hydrate and niacinamide to calm and brighten. We also love what it doesn't contain: The eye cream is fragrance-free, hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic, which means it won't clog pores. Shoppers swear their eyes look brighter and younger after using this product. Over 43,000 reviewers have given it a five-star rating. One shopper came to it via an ophthalmologist: "This eye cream was recommended to me by my eye doctor because I have very sensitive skin around my eyes that burns and peels. I have tried all the expensive department store brands and nothing helped. CeraVe was a miracle! It is very soothing and moisturizing. Makes the skin under my eyes smooth and supple again." A second reviewer called it "Botox in a tube." Another reported: "This is the greatest product ever! I have such dark circles from stress, work and lack of sleep. After using this cream as directed for five days, the dark circles started fading (and are) completely gone after one week. I'm telling everyone about this miracle cream. ... I look five years younger now!" "I've been cursed with dark circles that look like I have black eyes," said another grateful shopper. "The doctors tell me it is because of very thin skin and can't be helped, but I like CeraVe products and gave this cream a try ... It is moisturizing but, amazingly, I have noticed a difference in the very dark circles I have. I am very surprised to say that I actually do see improvement. I'll never be free of them, but this cream is well worth it to me. It's certainly worth trying. You might be as pleasantly surprised as I am." Some shoppers have a few tips. One reviewer warned: "If you have sensitive skin or eyes, it will irritate and burn a little." "The bottle is kind of small so it might run out fastish if you use it twice a day like me," revealed this user. "But I do think it is reasonable for its price." If you have Amazon Prime, you'll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.) The reviews quoted above reflect the most recent versions at the time of publication.

Olivia Wilde to direct Penelope Cruz in upcoming comedy movie
Picture Credit: Facebook Hollywood actress-director Olivia Wilde is set to take the reins on a new comedy movie called 'The Invite'. What's even better is that the film will star Penelope Cruz . The 41-year-old star, who made her directorial debut with the teen comedy film ' Booksmart ' back in 2019, is set to helm the upcoming date-night comedy movie, which is inspired by the Spanish film 'Sentimental', reports 'Female First UK'. Olivia will also star in the movie alongside the likes of Seth Rogen, and Edward Norton, 'Variety' states. The film's official synopsis explains that 'The Invite' is about "a couple (who) invites the neighbours over, igniting an evening full of unexpected twists and turns, revealing deeply repressed emotions and unexplored sexuality". Olivia's most-recent directing credit is 'Don't Worry Darling', the 2022 thriller film that starred the likes of Florence Pugh , Harry Styles, Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll and Chris Pine . As per 'Female First UK', the actress-turned-director is also set to helm 'Naughty', an upcoming Christmas comedy movie, as well as 'Avengelyne', a film adaptation of the comic book character. Olivia previously admitted to feeling liberated as a director. The Hollywood star recalled feeling a "thrill of independence" while directing her first film. She told The Talk, "For me, directing has been liberating in a way that is very profound because as an actor, you are very dependent. You're dependent on people choosing you and people projecting a certain kind of definition onto you of a character of what you are. I think it's quite an enormous responsibility to hold all of those projections". "With being a director, there's a sense of agency. I think the first time that I called action on my own set of my first film, I felt a thrill of independence for the first time. My value on a set was entirely based on my ideas and if I had an instinct to change a scene, I could do that. I think spending 20 years as an actress allowed me to really understand the value of having that type of independence", she added.

Olivia actually learned a lot about directing through her experiences as an actress. The film star explained: "I never went to film school, so the films I acted in were my proxy film school; some of them were pure cautionary tales that taught me what never to do, and some of them taught me some really valuable lessons of what I should strive for. "I think one of the great things about the film industry is that it's one that allows for evolution, for switching roles … It's unusual to work within a field that allows you to be an actor, a director, a writer, a producer. It's quite a luxury to be able to tell stories in so many different ways within one kind of profession. "If you are interested enough, you can try your hand at all these different crafts."

Olivia Wilde Calls Out Katy Perry & Co.'s All-Female Space Flight, But Is Loving the ‘Memes'
Olivia Wilde has chimed in on the controversial all-female space expedition helmed by Jeff Bezos' space exploration company Blue Origin. The Don't Worry Darling actress took to her Instagram Stories on Monday (April 14), shortly after the NS-31 rocket completed its 11-minute journey. She shared a meme featuring two photos of passenger Katy Perry exiting the capsule when returning to Earth, one in which she's kissing the ground and another in which she's holding up a daisy while walking outside as a tribute to her daughter, Daisy Dove. More from Billboard Katy Perry Posts Video of Her Blue Origin Flight Featuring Outer Space Reveal of Tour Setlist Lil Nas X Reveals Partial Paralysis of Right Side of His Face: 'I Can't Even Laugh Right' BTS' Jin Prepping Second Solo Album, 'Echo' The caption on top of the two photos read, 'getting off a commercial flight in 2025 #BlueOrigin.' Wilde added the message, 'Billion dollars bought some good memes, I guess.' The NS-31 expedition marked Blue Origin's 11th human space flight, and in addition to Perry, included passengers CBS Mornings' Gayle King, NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, bioastronautics research scientist and Nobel Peace Prize nominee Amanda Nguyen and entrepreneur/film producer Kerianne Flynn. The flight crew was led by Lauren Sánchez — who is engaged to Bezos and is vice chair of the billionaire's Earth Fund. Before the flight took off, another Olivia also shared her thoughts on the mission. Olivia Munn co-hosted Today With Jenna & Friends last week, where she called out the space flight. 'What are they doing?' she said. 'I know this probably isn't the cool thing to say, but there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now.' She continued, 'I know this is probably obnoxious, but like, it's so much money to go to space, and there's a lot of people who can't even afford eggs.'
