It was all in the start for Crusaders' coach Forster
Cru have made a habit of forging superb second half fightbacks this season, but they got their work done early by building up a 26-point advantage at the midway point of their 42-12 home win over Whitehaven.
This triumph took Crusaders to the top of the League One standings and Forster told Cru TV: 'We spoke about starting well, starting better. The last two games, obviously, we've been 10 and 12 behind at half-time.
'So, we knew if we went set-for-set that we'd find a few weaknesses, obviously, in the Whitehaven team that we looked at through the week, and just the way we wanted to play.
'We wanted to move them round a little bit and play a bit more expansive, and I thought we nailed the game-plan pretty much to a 'T' in the first half and we reaped the rewards with 26 points and, obviously, what was really pleasing was the nil.'
Olly Davies, Pat Ah Van (pictured above), Sam Wilde and Lloyd Roby grabbed the first half tries for Cru, setting them on their way to a fifth win in a row.
