One of Them Days 2 Happening, Keke Palmer & SZA's Status Revealed
One of Them Days 2 is officially in the works, with Variety reporting that Keke Palmer and SZA are set to return for a new comedy film.
Currently, the sequel remains mysterious, with Variety not mentioning much besides the fact that the original creative team behind the film will also return. This suggests that director Lawrence Lamont is also set to come back and join the project.
The original film, released earlier this year, follows the story of roommates Dreux and Alyssa, who have a rough day after finding out that Alyssa's boyfriend has stolen their rent money. The pair must then go on an adventure to secure the money while also trying to get out of the rough situation they are in.
The movie also marked the film debut of music superstar SZA. Alongside Palmer and the artist, One of Them Days featured an all-star ensemble cast including Katt Williams, Lil Rel Howery, Maude Apatow, Janelle James, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Joshua Neal, Aziza Scott, and Patrick Cage.
One of Them Days was directed by Lamont from a screenplay written by Syreeta Singleton. The film is produced by Issa Rae, Deniese Davis, Sara Rastogi, James Lopez, and Poppy Hanks.
