INDIA bloc leaders to meet today to press for special Parliament session
INDIA bloc members are convening in Delhi on Tuesday to press for a special Parliament session, demanding discussions on Operation Sindoor and the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Floor leaders from allied parties are expected to attend, aiming to pass a joint resolution or petition the President or Prime Minister.

New Delhi: INDIA bloc members are scheduled to meet here on Tuesday to reiterate their demand for a special session of Parliament to discuss Operation Sindoor and the Pahalgam terrorist attack , some leaders involved in the preparation said. In most cases, floor leaders of INDIA bloc allies would represent their parties at the meeting, which plans to pass a joint resolution or write a letter to the President or the prime minister, placing their sources said "most" allied parties are likely to attend the meeting, but it remains to be seen whether Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SCP) will be part of the meeting, which will be held at a neutral venue, the Constitution Club, incidentally, comes within days of CDS General Anil Chauhan indicating that India lost some aircraft during Operation some parties, including Congress, have been demanding the special session, of late Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool has also joined the chorus. Tuesday's Opposition meeting is also an attempt to regain the tactical space lost to the government when the latter announced the all-party global outreach. The move is also designed to try and resist the PM leading BJP's blitzkrieg over Operation Sindoor.
