Armed forces lauded for success in ‘Operation Sindoor'
Officers of South Central Railway (SCR), Vijayawada Division, on Saturday (May 17) organised a march extending support to the armed forces, which successfully carried out 'Operation Sindoor'.
The rally, which began from Gandhi Statue, passed through Clock Tower (railway station East side), DRM's office and Jack N Jill School, and culminated in a meeting at Bapu Waiting Hall, on Platform No. 1, in the railway station.
Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Narendra A. Patil, additional DRMs Srinivasa Rao Konda and P.E. Edwin, officers of various branches, personnel from Railway Protection Force (RPF), Scouts and Guides, passengers and students participated in the solidarity march (Tiranga Run).
The participants, carrying the Tricolour, raised slogans lauding the courage of the army, navy and air force personnel.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Narendra commended the armed forces for their success in 'Operation Success', and congratulated the personnel department of SCR-Vijayawada Division for organising the Tiranga Run.
