NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded positive around 11:15AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market. The Nifty IT index was up 0.33 per cent at 37060.2 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 85.71 points at 24705.9, while the BSE Sensex was up 281.4 points at 81279.65. NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a negative note on Friday. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd.(up 1.71 per cent), Persistent Systems Ltd.(up 0.81 per cent) and LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 0.28 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.13 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent), MphasiS Ltd.(down 0.92 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 0.89 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day. The Nifty IT index closed 0.84 per cent down at 37972.35. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 42.3 points at 25019.8, while the BSE Sensex stood down 200.15 points at 82330.59. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 ended in the green, while 25 closed in the red.
