Third person dies in Largo crash that killed 2 children
LARGO, Fla. (WFLA) — A third person has died following a vehicle crash in Largo that claimed the lives of two children on Saturday.
The fatal crash occurred at Orangeview Drive and Ridge Road around 1:45 p.m., when a Dodge Durango collided with a Kia Soul.
The driver of the Kia Soul, 78-year-old Gail Price, died Sunday evening.
A passenger in the vehicle, 58-year-old Herbert Rivera, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
There are no updates available on his condition.
According to the Largo Police Department, the two children who died in the crash were also passengers in the Kia.
The driver of the Dodge Durango, identified as 20-year-old Adarius Hayes, was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The Largo Police Department reported that neither driver showed any signs of impairment.
There are no criminal charges at this time.
