Head of Oregon ‘think tank' on continuing fight for ‘economic justice'
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — When we hear the term 'think tank,' we normally think of the big public policy research institutes that you might find on K Street in Washington D.C.
But D.C. isn't the only place you'll find think tanks. We have several in Oregon, including the Oregon Center for Public Policy (OCPP).
The OCPP, which is celebrating 25 years as an organization, bills itself as being in 'the fight for economic justice for all Oregonians.'
Alejandro Queral, the Executive Director of OCPP, joined Eye on Northwest Politics to discuss their goals to have an economic system that works for everyone, as well as potential impacts to the state of Oregon after the recent passage of the federal congressional budget.
