When Bravo reality-TV star Lindsay Hubbard declared she was pregnant on Instagram last July, she endorsed Clearblue as the testmaker she trusted. Months later, she announced her daughter's arrival via another sponsored post: a photo of Hubbard eating a Jimmy John's sandwich packed with the deli meat she'd avoided during gestation.
But in January, Hubbard told her more than 700,000 Instagram followers that she was supplementing her breast milk with formula in a post she said wasn't earning her a cent. 'No, this is NOT an ad, I just wanted to share this part of my journey with you,' Hubbard wrote over a photo of a stack of canned Bobbie's Organic Gentle Infant Formula.
