I-85 crash kills man from Midway, police say
OPELIKA, Ala. () — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division says a single-vehicle crash has claimed the life a man from Midway, Georgia.
Police say on May 14, Otis Taylor, 51, died after his 2018 Honda HRV left the roadway and hit a bridge column. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened on Interstate 85, seven miles north of Tuskegee, in Macon County.
No further information is available as ALEA troopers continue to investigate.
