Robert Griffin III and wife call out Jordon Hudson after ‘absolutely horrible' Bill Belichick interview

Robert Griffin III and wife Grete are still digesting Bill Belichick's disastrous CBS interview that was railroaded by his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. When discussing Belichick's awkward Q&A on Tuesday's episode of the 'Outta Pocket with RGIII' podcast, the wife of the former NFL quarterback said the legendary coach's now-viral interview on 'CBS Sunday Morning' went 'absolutely horrible,' calling attention to Hudson's interjections. 'Jordon would not allow him to answer certain questions, they would not allow him to ask certain questions and she was just speaking for Bill, telling him pretty much what he can and can't say,' Grete said. Advertisement 7 Jordon Hudson's interjections during Bill Belichick's CBS interview in April 2025 was a topic of conversation on Robert Griffin III's podcast with his wife, Grete. CBS During his conversation with Tony Dokoupil that aired April 27, Belichick was asked how he and Hudson, a former college cheerleader, had met. Advertisement Hudson, whose relationship with Belichick became public in 2024 after meeting on an airplane three years prior, replied, 'We're not talking about this.' The moment then cast an even brighter light on the couple's romance and how Hudson has become intertwined in Belichick's professional endeavors. 7 Grete Griffin, who has been married to the former NFL quarterback since 2018, said the Belichick Q&A went 'absolutely horrible.' YouTube 7 The now-viral sit-down sparked a series of headlines centered on Bill Belichick's relationship with Jordon Hudson. CBS Advertisement Page Six reported last week how Hudson 'demanded' to be an executive producer on a since-scrapped 'Hard Knocks' docuseries that would have chronicled Belichick's first year of coaching at UNC. The outlet also reported how Hudson allegedly 'forced' her way into Dunkin Donuts' star-studded Super Bowl ad that aired in February. Griffin, 35, said Tuesday how 'all of these things that are coming out now are painting her, this relationship and Bill Belichick in a massively negative light.' 7 Robert Griffin III wrote in a post on X that Bill Belichick's relationship 'has become the one thing he always hated as a coach, a DISTRACTION for his UNC Football team.' Grete Griffin/Instagram 'Bill Belichick is the Greatest Head Coach in NFL History, but his girlfriend Jordon Hudson is becoming a problem,' the newly minted Fox Sports college football analyst wrote in an X post Tuesday evening. 'Bill can date whoever he wants, but his relationship has become the one thing he always hated as a coach, a DISTRACTION for his UNC Football team.' An eight-time Super Bowl winner, Belichick moved to the collegiate ranks in December when he was tapped to become the Tar Heels' new football coach. 7 Jordon Hudson has been by Bill Belichick's side at UNC. He knows what he is doing and Jordon makes him happy,' a source previously told People. All eyes — including those possibly of the Griffins, who have been married since 2018 — will be on Belichick come Sept. 1, when he coaches his first regular-season game for UNC against TCU.

Seth Rollins Makes Big Caitlin Clark Statement Before Wrestlemania

Before Seth Rollins steps into one of the biggest matches of his WWE career at WrestleMania 41, the Iowa native took a moment to highlight someone else who's been dominating headlines in a different arena — Caitlin Clark. During an appearance on "Outta Pocket with RGIII" on Tuesday, Rollins opened up about his admiration for the former University of Iowa basketball star and the way his home state has rallied around her. Advertisement "I love Caitlin Clark, man. I love Caitlin Clark," Rollins said when asked about her rise. He continued by explaining just how much her influence has grown — drawing a comparison to one of basketball's biggest icons. "I love it," Rollins said. "I don't wanna get blasphemous here, but, I mean, it's Jordanesque. ... She's changed the game. She's so unassuming, you know. You look at her, you don't think anything. "You don't think she's a star. You don't think she's gonna just be balling out on everybody. And she does, you know. Yeah. And to see what she's done for ... women's sports in general." Rollins also pointed out the increased conversation and competitiveness at the top of the women's game — and how Clark has been a major reason for it. Advertisement "Even even the fact that, like, you get ... all this conflict at the top in the WNBA now about arguing, like, whether or not it should be her or, you know, you know, is like Paige Bueckers is coming out. Yeah. This year, and now she's gonna be the top dog. And, like, just this con like, is it Angel Reese? Like, who deserves the credit? The fact that we're even having that conversation, I think, is amazing." Rollins also acknowledged how Clark's success has energized his home state. WWE star Seth Images "And to see what she's done and the amount of money she's been able to bring in for the women in sports, I love it. You know, in Iowa, we ain't got much, man. We ain't got no sports teams. That's why I'm a Bears fan. And so to see, like, people rally behind her is so cool." Advertisement Rollins said he's already looking forward to what's next for Clark. "I think she's great," he said. "I can't wait to see, like, her sophomore year, what she's gonna do." McGregor addicted to spotlight, not fighting: Dustin Poirier

Dustin Poirier has cast doubt over Conor McGregor's return to the UFC, questioning whether the former two-division champion is still committed to fighting. McGregor has not competed since his trilogy bout against Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021, where he suffered a broken leg in a doctor's stoppage TKO loss. Prior to that, Poirier had knocked out McGregor at UFC 257 in January 2021. The Irish fighter was scheduled to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June 2024 but withdrew due to a broken pinky toe. Poirier, who is preparing for what he calls his retirement fight, does not expect to share the octagon with McGregor again. 'Nah, because if I fought him again it would just be for the money,' Poirier said on the 'Outta Pocket with RGIII' podcast. 'It felt so nice – I whipped him twice. It would be just for the money and the money would be incredible. I don't know if he's ever going to come back.' McGregor has remained active in the public eye, promoting businesses and making appearances at events such as Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). Poirier believes his former opponent may be more invested in maintaining his celebrity status than making a UFC comeback. 'I was his last two fights. That was years ago, and he still hasn't fought,' Poirier said. 'I just think he's one of those guys who is addicted to the limelight. He just wants to be in the mix and in social media. Maybe he does come back, but I just think that he has an addiction to the light.' Despite his scepticism, Poirier acknowledged McGregor's unique ability to compete at the highest level, should he regain his drive. 'Look, I love to talk trash on Conor, but if anybody can put it all together and come back, if he can find that passion and that fire, and put it together, this guy can,' Poirier said. 'I'm not saying anybody, but this guy can. He's special. He has something special, but only he knows when he looks in the mirror if he can really do it again. But if he believes it, I believe he could.' McGregor has yet to announce his next fight, while Poirier continues to prepare for his final bout before stepping away from the sport.

Dustin Poirier gives thoughts on Conor McGregor's return, says UFC star is 'addicted to the limelight'

Dustin Poirier casts doubt on Conor McGregor's UFC return. McGregor's most recent two appearances came against Poirier, where he was stopped in both fights. Poirier knocked out McGregor at UFC 257 in January 2021, and capped off their trilogy with another finish at UFC 264, where McGregor broke his leg in a doctor's stoppage TKO loss in July 2021. McGregor hasn't fought since. He was scheduled to return from an almost three-year long layoff against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 this past June, but withdrew after breaking his pinky toe. 'The Notorious' doesn't currently have a fight booked, but has remained busy promoting BKFC and numerous businesses in the meantime. As Poirier (30-8 MMA, 22-7 UFC) gears up for his retirement fight, he doesn't see himself linked to a McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) fight ever again. 'Nah, because if I fought him again it would just be for the money,' Poirier said on the 'Outta Pocket with RGIII' podcast. 'It felt so nice – I whipped him twice. It would be just for the money and the money would be incredible. I don't know if he's ever going to come back. 'I was his last two fights. That was years ago, and he still hasn't fought. I just think he's one of those guys who is addicted to the limelight. He just wants to be in the mix and in social media. Maybe he does come back, but I just think that he has an addiction to the light.' Poirier did admit that former UFC dual-champion McGregor has a special mindset, which allowed him to become the sport's biggest star. But if he believes it, I believe he could.'

Dustin Poirier gets 'so amped up' talking about 'fake motherf*cker' Michael Chandler

Dustin Poirier never hesitates at a chance to go off on Michael Chandler. Poirier's dislike for Chandler started years ago when the pair met during a Bellator event. Poirier recalled Chandler coming up to him to pay his respects, but things took a turn when Chandler made his way to the UFC in late 2020. 'The Diamond' recounted the story. 'Why do I dislike him so much? It comes back to this,' Poirier said on the 'Outta Pocket with RGIII' podcast. 'A long time ago, I was at a Bellator event. He comes in at the back, 'I just wanted to come over and shake your hand. I respect you so much, man. Your career has been awesome. You've had so many great fights, you've come back from adversity, so nice to meet you and finally shake your hand.' 'Fast forward a year, two years: He makes it to the UFC. Now he's talking trash on me. Then I saw him in Vegas. He was coming into an event at T-Mobile Arena, and that's the first time I saw him since. I said, 'You little b*tch.' I said, 'You're a fake motherf*cker, I will beat your ass.' And then they booked the fight.' Poirier (30-8 MMA, 22-7 UFC) fought Chandler (23-9 MMA, 2-4 UFC) at UFC 281 in November 2022, submitting the former Bellator champion by Round 3 rear-naked choke in a Fight of the Night battle. Poirier was infuriated by Chandler's in-fight tactics, accusing him of being a dirty fighter. 'With my personal experience, he's fake, man,' Poirier said. 'But we do this knuckle sh*t, so I was even more mad. I'm like, let's fight then, and he's a cheater! I could go on for days. I get so amped up about this. He does all kinds of stuff, man. Blows the blood in my eyes after I break his nose. That's cool. I've done that before. I admitted it after. 'And then Chandler, I brought it up, and he said he didn't do it. Like, just admit it, bro. You're so fake. Then he stuck his fingers in my mouth to lift my neck up for a rear-naked choke, right? He's on my back, I'm trying to get up off the fence. He sticks his fingers inside my mouth, grips my mouth guard, pulls my head up to try and get his hand under my chin – bro, I bite his fingers so hard.' Poirier is currently gearing up for his retirement fight in summer, where he hopes to lay down his gloves in his home state of Louisiana. Meanwhile, Chandler takes on fan favorite Paddy Pimblett April 12 at UFC 314 in Miami.
