However, the tear down process will require 'coordination among multiple vendors and city personnel,' according to the department. The fences will come down and roads will reopen in the following order: Fencing at Riverscape Monument Avenue Main Street First Street, and anything on side streets north of First Street All streets west of Main Street, including West Second Street, West Third Street and Ludlow Street East Third Street and St. Clair Street East Second Street, between N. Main Street and Patterson Boulevard Fencing at Courthouse Square Police said some of the barriers could be moved to the side of the road which could cause some lane restrictions until they are removed. Dayton resident Loree Overman said she thinks it's nice to see the area starting to look like normal again. 'I'm happy its being cleared up, but it really wasn't a problem. Mechanic test-driving car crashes into building

A mechanic was test driving a car when he lost control, running into a building, and called 911 for help. The crash occurred at Choices in Community Living on Needmore Road after 3 p.m. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] He said during the weekends, he test drives it in this empty parking lot. During his test drive, the throttle was stuck and he lost control. Nicholas Overman with the Dayton Fire Department said firefighters worked to ensure the building was structurally sound. 'We put the temporary shoring in place with the concern of the support columns for the garage door being taken out by the car,' Overman said. He said firefighters do not believe at this time that the building is at risk of collapsing. No one was hurt in the crash.
