Bosses at an Edinburgh bar say the building has suffered "significant damage" following a devastating fire.
Emergency services rushed to the blaze at Ox 184 on Cowgate shortly after 4pm on Monday, May 12, as smoke could be seen rising from the roof of the popular bar.
Firefighters battled the inferno for around four hours and left the scene at 8.30pm with the road remaining closed until Tuesday morning.

A statement on the bar's social media channels confirmed they were closed until further notice and bosses have now revealed the building suffered significant damage.
They also thanked the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for limiting the spread of the fire but confirmed they will be closed for a while.
Taking to Facebook and Instagram they wrote: "As mentioned above, we would like to thank everyone for their kind messages and huge thanks to the amazing Scottish Fire Service teams that worked hard to limit the spread of the fire at Ox 184.
"We have however suffered significant damage and will be closed for a while. Will update when we know more."
A Police Scotland spokesperson previously said: "Cowgate in Edinburgh has fully reopened following a building fire which was reported around 4.20pm on Monday, 12 May, 2025.
"The fire was extinguished and there were no reports of injuries. It is not being treated as wilful."
