PBB announces full Supreme Council line-up following recent convention

KUCHING (May 17): Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) has announced the full line-up of its Supreme Council members, following the party's recent convention. Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, who is also PBB president, said the announcement marked the first official meeting of the new Supreme Council. 'This is the first Supreme Council meeting after the recent PBB convention. We have selected several members into this Supreme Council. 'On behalf of my fellow selected members, I would like to thank PBB members throughout Sarawak for their trust in us to continue leading the party and to serve the state of Sarawak — Sarawak First — and the country of Malaysia as a whole,' he told a press conference after chairing the Pre-DUN Meeting and PBB Supreme Council Meeting 2025 at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) here tonight. Abang Johari also announced the full line-up of the PBB Supreme Council for the current term. He remains as the party president. The deputy presidents are Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan. The senior vice presidents are Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof and Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom. The vice presidents are Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn, Dato Ibrahim Baki, Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi, Datuk Gerawat Gala, Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee, Dato Gerald Rentap Jabu, Datu Len Talif Salleh, Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah, and Datuk Martin Ben. Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nasar is the permanent chairman. Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi serves as the secretary-general, while Dato Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman is the deputy secretary-general. Five were appointed as assistant secretaries-general. From the Bumiputera Wing, they are Datuk Hasbi Habibollah, Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, and Datuk Hamzah Brahim, while from the Pesaka Wing are Miro Simuh and Maurice Joannes Giri. Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi was named the treasurer-general, and Datuk Dr Ripin Lamat assistant treasurer. The information chief is Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, assisted by Dato Dr Philip Raja. The elected members are Datuk Jefferson Jamit Unyat, Ir Yusuf Abdul Wahab, Lidam Assan, Datuk Ir Aidel Lariwoo, Abdul Yakub Arbi, John Ilus, Mohamad Duri, Senator Michael Mujah Lihan, Safiee Ahmad, Dato Dr Richard Rapu, Datuk Abdullah Saidol, Datuk Ricky @ Mohd Razi Sitam, Awla Dris, Dr Simon Sinang Bada, Razaili Gapor, Datuk Willie Mongin, Dato Haidar Khan Asghar Khan, Dato Daniel Jubang Kanyan, Senator Dato Ahmad Dato Sri Ibrahim, Dato Paulus Gumbang, Iskandar Turkee, PS Awangku Jainal Abedin Dato Pengiran Jawa, Datuk Dr Jerip Susil, Dato Dennis Ngau, Dato Henry Sum Agong, Sulhie Salleh, Syed Hamzah Dato Sri Wan Hamid Edruce, Julaihi Mohamad, Leonard Jambu, and Jawan Nyaun. In addition to the elected members, 20 were appointed as Supreme Council members. From the Bumiputera Wing, they are Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail, Dato Idris Buang, Dato Lukanisman Awang Sauni, Ahmad Johnie Zawawi, Datuk Dr Hazland Abang Hipni, Dato Murshid DiRaja Dr Juanda Jaya, Azizul Annuar Adenan, Dato Sri Mohd Naroden Majais, and PS Dr Dayang Nurfizawati Abang Abdul Karim. From the Pesaka Wing, they are Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom, Dato Dr Nuing Jeluing, Paulus Dandee Banyang, Romeo Christopher Tegong, Lesley Luyoh Akah, Wejok Tomik, Jampi Tutong, Fred Entau, Barnabas Kulor Kaoz Djunior, Patrict Miden, and Cr Adison Langgar Injan. Following amendments to the party's constitution, the council now includes five representatives from the Women's Wing. They are Datin Sri Angelina Ujang, Dato Sri Nancy Shukri, Umang Nangku Jabu, Datuk Rubiah Wang, and Dayang Noorazah Awang Sohor. Five representatives from the Youth Wing were also appointed. They are Anderson Lah, Sufian Mohat, Martin Ngindang Richard Mullok, Afiq Fikri Brahim, and Lyokarto Sikong. Senator Dato Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah has been appointed as the party's legal advisor. Abang Johari concluded by saying that although some elected representatives are not listed in the official Supreme Council line-up, they are still included in discussions in accordance with the party's traditions.
