2025 PFL 3 video: Fabian Edwards pounds Impa Kasanganay with punches for TKO
2025 PFL 3 video: Fabian Edwards pounds Impa Kasanganay with punches for TKO Fabian Edwards is moving on. In the 2025 PFL World Tournament 3 main event, Edwards (14-4) finished 2023 light heavyweight champion Impa Kasanganay (18-6) with punches at 2:14 of Round 2. The bout took place in Orlando, Fla. Edwards advances to the the middleweight tournament semifinal June 27 when he'll face Josh Silveira. The fight was exciting for as long as it lasted. With an elbow, Edwards opened up a gnarly gash on Kasanganay's forehead that required a doctor's examination between Rounds 1 and 2. After Kasanganay received clearance, the fight continued. Kasanganay wobbled Edwards early, but would ultimately be the one to get finished. Edwards found a home for his left hand and eventually dropped Kasanganay. A few punches later, the fight was over. Edwards, 32, moves to 5-2 in his most recent seven. The only two losses in that stretch were to Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen. Kasanaganay has lost back-to-back fights. The skid also includes a 2024 PFL light heavyweight championship loss to Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov. Up-to-the-minute results of 2025 PFL 3 include:

PFL announces Dakota Ditcheva will return this summer
PFL announces Dakota Ditcheva will return this summer Dakota Ditcheva asked – and now PFL says she'll receive. One day after Ditcheva (14-0) told MMA Junkie she was "gutted" by the lack of activity, it was announced on the 2025 PFL World Tournament 3 broadcast Friday she'll return in July. No date, location, or opponent coincided with this announcement. "I did just have a great chat with Donn (Davis). I did actually," Ditcheva said on the broadcast. "I'm being a little bit more hopeful now. I think people are really getting a little bit more stressed that they weren't going to have me fight this year. But guys, I'm coming back. Don't worry." Ditcheva, 26, broke through as a star in the promotion in 2024 as she went 4-0 with four finishes en route to a 2024 PFL women's flyweight championship. Ditcheva has not competed since November when she finished former UFC title challenger Taila Santos with strikes in less than two full rounds.

One of the more substantial changes is that all fights will now allow elbows. The first-round fights and semifinal fights will be three five-minute rounds, while the finals are five five-minute rounds.
