Parts of the country are expected to come close to 30C this week, but one item could help beat the heat
When temperatures are scorching, people will be looking for ways to make sure they don't struggle during the first heatwave of 2025. Weather forecasters at the Met Office say temperatures this week could rise as high as 30C in parts of the UK.
If you're stuck inside as Brits start to enjoy the start of summer, it might become unbearable with heavy heat lingering in the air. But, Home Bargains has a cheap and quick way to keep cool during those sweltering days.

This item isn't listed online to buy on its own, but there is a £5.97 multipack allowing you to get three in one go. Plenty of people were quick to respond in the comments section.

Brits have been warned that, as temperatures start to increase, it's important to remember that keeping cool will become essential. The Met Office claimed that "the heat can affect your health and make you feel unwell".
The Met Office says there are many simple things you can do to keep yourself safe. These include:
Keep out of the sun and avoid any exercise between 11am to 3pm when the sun is the strongest.
Drink plenty of fluids.
Close your curtains in rooms that face the sun.
If you are going out, take water with you, keep in the shade, wear sunscreen and wear a wide-brimmed hat.
