CM lauds student's praise of Kalaignar library
Madurai: A heartfelt letter from a Class IX student of Thirumangalam praising Kalaignar Centenary Library drew the attention of chief minister M K Stalin , who responded with appreciation through a social media post on to a release, V Dev Sanjay Krishna , who studies at P K N Higher Secondary School, wrote about his experience at the library and knowledge centre during summer holidays. Impressed by the vast collection of books, study resources, and digital infrastructure, he expressed gratitude to the chief minister for establishing the state-of-the-art facility."I was amazed by the number of competitive exam books, biographies, stories, and history books available. The computers and internet access especially impressed me," Sanjay wrote in his letter. "I now bring my lunch and spend the whole day there. I'm currently reading Helen Keller's 'The Story of My Life," he said. The student also appreciated the library staff and the comfortable amenities. "Thank you for creating such a wonderful space for us," he to the letter, Stalin said, "Dear Dev Sanjay Krishna, I'm delighted by your passion for reading. Appreciation from young minds always doubles our motivation! Tamil Nadu's future will flourish with such libraries." The Kalaignar Centenary Library, inaugurated in July 2023, is one of the largest public libraries in the state, aiming to promote reading and digital learning among all age groups, read the statement.
