WWE RAW Results & Highlights (5/26/25): CM Punk crashes Seth Rollins' win, Liv Morgan is back and more
Image via WWE WWE RAW this week saw a top star making their return, a new ally joining a dominant faction, and Money in the Bank qualifiers taking over. The May 26th edition of WWE RAW was the last event to take place in the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, as part of the action-packed PLEs that took place over the weekend. The night saw Money in the Bank qualifiers continuing, Liv Morgan making her return, and a huge main event that ended with the victor lying on the floor. Opening segment with Seth Rollins and his faction — WWE (@WWE) Seth Rollins made his way out to the ring with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and their new faction member, Bronson Reed. Rollins and Heyman spoke about the group's dominance and predicted a progressive future for each member. The segment ended with Rollins vowing to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match and become the World Champion again. Chad Cable vs. Dragon Lee vs. Penta This was the first Money in the Bank Triple Threat qualifying match of the night. The three delivered a spectacular showdown that was exciting to watch. In the end, Mexican star El Hijo del Vikingo, who was in the crowd, came to the ring and kicked Chad Gable when the referee was not watching. This led to Penta delivering the Mexican Destroyer to Dragon Lee, followed by a Penta Driver to Gable to win the match. The New Day vs. The War Raiders vs. American Made The triple-threat tag team match was for the New Day's WWE World Tag Team Championships. It was a highly explosive showdown with three different teams bringing their styles to the high-stakes match. The ending of the saw Xavier Woods rolling up Julius Creed using his singlet for leverage to retain the titles for his team. Liv Morgan vs. Kairi Sane Liv Morgan made her return to WWE TV from her Hollywood project. She confronted Dominik Mysterio about recent events that have been happening with Judgment Day and Roxanne Perez earlier in the night. Later on, she had an exciting match against Kairi Sane. However, Perez came down to the ringside in the final moments of the bout. She pushed Sane off the top rope and got into an altercation with Raquel Rodriguez. The distraction cost Morgan as Sane took advantage to pick up the win. Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria's segment Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch had a heated exchange over the fact that Lyra had now beaten Lynch twice in her career. The Man proposed a third match for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship, and if she lost, she would never challenge Valkyria for the title, to which she agreed. Sami Zayn vs. Finn Bálor vs. Seth 'Freakin' Rollins This was the main event and the last Money in the Bank Triple Threat qualifying match of the night. Tensions were evident between Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn, while Finn Balor tried to gain the upper hand. Dominik Mysterio came in the end and pushed a chair into the ring. Balor attempted to grab it but instead got his head stomped into it by Rollins, who pinned him to qualify. Right after his win, CM Punk's music hit, and he entered the ring from behind to nail Rollins with a GTS. Punk ran out into the crowd before Rollins' faction members, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, could get their hands on him. WWE announces first-ever 'Premium Live Event' in Paris with Clash in Paris
WWE will host a premium live event in Paris for the first time with Clash in Paris , set for Sunday, 31 August, at Paris La Défense Arena. The venue, the largest indoor arena in Europe, has a listed capacity of 40,000. The event will be followed by WWE Raw on Monday, 1 September, at the same location. The announcement comes after the success of Backlash in Lyon last May, which drew 11,682 fans. WWE president Nick Khan recently confirmed that another premium live event (PLE) would be held in France this year. Pre-sale registration is open, with an official on-sale date yet to be announced. TKO president Mark Shapiro previously indicated that WWE would continue expanding international events after hosting eight of 12 PLEs outside the United States in 2024. So far, five PLEs have been announced for 2025, with Clash in Paris joining Elimination Chamber in Canada as the only international events confirmed to date.
