Indianapolis weekend events: GEOfest, Jeff Foxworthy, PVF All-Star and more
Dig into the dazzling world of gems, fossils and minerals when GEOfest returns to the Indiana State Museum this weekend.
What's happening: The all-ages educational event is one of the museum's most popular annual events, and has been rocking for 22 years.
It features three floors of hands-on learning experiences, shopping via 25 vendors and the chance to explore the museum's natural history galleries.
Plus: Irving Materials is bringing its cement truck to the party to help attendees make trilobite paperweights.
If you go: GEOfest runs Friday through Sunday at Indiana State Museum, open 10am-5pm daily.
Admission is $19 for adults, $13 for children and $17 for seniors.
