'I'm about to give Doja Cat my shirt, cause she's the iconic girl,' Pablo says in the video before taking off his shirt and handing it to her. He then hugs her as she wraps a leg around his waist, and places his hands on her shoulders while they continue talking. Pablo captioned the clip, 'When Doja Cat likes your shirt, you give her your shirt' and 'Love you @dojacat.' I would be embarrassed,' one commented. 'I don't think nothing what she is feeling is wrong at all, she was just playing it cool on camera and knowing how ppl switch stories,' one fan wrote, adding, 'She sure is a good actor because I thought this was a cute fan moment.' They continued, 'I think it's such a big misunderstanding, she's very valid for feeling violated and he thought it was all good vibes and his intentions seem pure fan love. I hope they talk and resolve this, I don't see no wrong sides. Just miscommunication. Don't send hate to neither.' Pablo responded to the backlash with a follow-up TikTok addressing the controversy. I will take full accountability. 'I'm gay! I would never want to make her feel uncomfortable, she's so iconic, I've only been saying the nicest things about her.' Pablo continued, saying he 'would have never wanted to make her uncomfortable,' and added that he wouldn't have shared the video /if she hadn't said yes… 'I apologize if I did anything wrong at all, but guys, I'm a human being too, but maybe this just shows that not everybody's who they say they are in person.' In a cheeky move, Pablo is now selling a t-shirt with the phrase 'Musty ass shirt' printed on it. He promoted the new merch in a TikTok captioned, 'She wants to promote her album, I'll promote my clothes.'

Mega-star absolutely roasts fan after interaction on the street

A seemingly sweet fan interaction with pop star Doja Cat has taken an ugly turn – with the singer publicly shaming the man on social media just days after their encounter. Taking to X, the Grammy-winning artist claimed the fan – who had approached her in the street earlier this month – had crossed serious boundaries during the meeting. 'Don't touch me and man handle me when you don't even f**king know me. He didn't even know my name, to be touching me and kissing me on my face is crazy,' she wrote bluntly. 'Bottom line is, I'll smile at you but it doesn't mean I f**k with you,' the singer added in the tweet, which she deleted shortly aftter. The clip, which has over 3 million likes, shows LA local Pablo Tamayo approaching the singer and gifting her the shirt he's wearing. 'I'm about to give my shirt to Doja Cat because she's the icon "It" girl,' he says while the Say So singer smiles beside him. The two then exchange names and share a series of hugs before the video ends with the pair jumping up and down excitedly. Doja Cat followed up her since-deleted posts saying, 'I threw that musty ass shirt away by the way.' Viewers were divided, with some claiming the pop star looked 'uncomfortable.' 'She's low-key frightened,' said one. 'I can't lie I feel like he overstepped the boundaries,' chimed in another. Others saw nothing wrong with the interaction, branding Doja Cat 'weird and fake.' 'This was so cute until I saw her tweet,' said one. 'Celebrities are so weird! How are you going to act like this and switch up?!,' questioned another. 'Seeing this now seems so upsetting,' said a third. 'I feel bad for this guy. What she said on Twitter was disgusting and hurtful,' echoed a fourth. Pablo has since responded to the tweets saying, 'It hurts because I loved her.' 'She was being so nice and pointed out my shirt so I gave her one,' he said. 'I understand if I was being too nice and I will take full accountability but I don't even know what's going on.' 'Maybe not everyone is who they portray in person,' he added. The LA local has since gone one step further by posting a photo of his own Doja Cat merch with the caption, 'I threw this musty ass shirt away.' This isn't the first time Doja Cat has been in hot water with her fans. In 2022, the singer lost over 200,000 followers after calling her fans 'crazy people' and refusing to say she loved them. 'My life, my rules, my style, my attitude,' she said at the time.
