Jonbon strong favourite for victory
Jonbon's form this season has been flawless. Nicky Henderson's charge has been the standout superstar in the two-mile chase division, with other horses such as Gaelic Warrior and Energumene faltering throughout the season when expected to do well. He is rated 5lb clear of his closest rival Energumene, who at the age of 11 could be on the wane.
Jonbon won the Shloer Chase back in November, but before that had been unsuccessful on all three of his visits to Cheltenham – so there is certainly risk attached to this pick.
