Katie Price's torrid 12 months from dramatic tweakments to bankruptcy woes
Over the last 12 months, Katie Price has been embroiled in ongoing drama over her bankruptcy, undergone a whole host of cosmetic procedures - and her romance with JJ Slater has been plagued by rumours The last year has seen Katie Price, 47, go through some major challenges, as her bankruptcy dramas dominated the headlines - and her life - for the last 12 months. In March 2024, she was officially declared bankrupt because of an unpaid tax bill of a whopping £750,000, marking the second time the OnlyFans star had faced bankruptcy. The former Page Three girl, who went by the nickname Jordan back in her heyday, is celebrating her 47th birthday, but she's the first to admit the last few years haven't always gone her way. Her romance with Married at First Sight star JJ Slater, 32, started strong early last year, despite the 14-year age gap between them, but in recent months, the pair have also been plagued by break-up rumours after they reportedly didn't spend Christmas together. The Mirror looks back at the past torrid 12 months of Katie's life... May 2024 After being declared bankrupt in March, Katie suffered a major shock when she claimed that vandals had thrown acid on her infamous pink Range Rover after breaking into her home in Horsham, West Sussex - that's been dubbed "Mucky Mansion". Katie called the police about the vandalism, and took to social media about the scary experience, saying: "It's nice to know someone in the night has come to throw acid all over my car, everywhere, all on my car. Thank you, whoever that was.' An eviction notice for the I'm a Celeb star to leave the property was also served, due to her ongoing bankruptcy issues, and within days of the acid attack, removal vans were seen at the mansion, with Katie claiming that she had been "advised by authorities" to leave sooner than initially planned. After leaving the £1.6 million Mucky Mansion behind for pastures new - a four-bedroom home reported to be worth £1.2 million - she upgraded her security in light of the terrifying acid attack, and was said to be paying a huge £4,995 in rent every month for her new home. June 2024: In early June 2024, Katie alleged that an attempted break-in had occurred at Mucky Mansion, though she had moved out at this point. She claimed that a group of people had entered the property and that the police were in response protecting it 24/7. "Rushed to my home after being informed of a white transit van with eight people not from this area waiting in my grounds," She wrote on social media, adding: "A thanks to Sussex police who were instantly there and who are guarding the property. After the recent acid attack at the mansion, all breaches of security are taken seriously by all now. There is 24-hour security now at the property for protection." Later that month, another break-in is alleged to have occurred, with Katie sharing CCTV images of an intruder on her socials, and later updating her fans that the police had found the man and stolen belongings. "Thank you to Sussex police for finding the guy who not only broke into my house but who also stole a carload of my belongings and was caught while he was boosting about trying to sell my stuff and how he broke into my property last week.. I'll keep you updated." The police are reported as saying about the incident: "We received a report of suspicious behaviour involving a possible break-in at 9pm on June 4. Officers attended the scene and two men were searched. No items were found. The men were given words of advice and released. Officers have made contact with the property owner and kept them informed of both incidents." July 2024: In July 2024, amid all her property and bankruptcy woes, Katie travelled to Turkey for a facelift, which was said to be her sixth time going under the knife for the intense procedure. More of her income from eight different companies was ordered to be handed over to pay off her debts, after she is reported to have failed to keep to agreed voluntary payments. However, her travels abroad meant she missed a bankruptcy hearing, so an arrest warrant was issued for the mum-of-five on 30 July. August 2024: When returning from Turkey, Katie was dramatically arrested at Heathrow Airport on 8 August for missing her court hearing, whilst still wearing the bandages from her facelift. She was bailed later that evening, but at a later court hearing the same month, the judge sternly warned her that her attendance at the proceedings was absolutely mandatory and that she would be held in custody again if she missed any more of them. This wasn't the end of the bankruptcy dramas in August, with Katie ordered to give six of her vehicles, including the pink Range Rover that had been subject to an acid attack, to help pay off her debt. Her income from TikTok was also suspended to help cover the debts from both her bankruptcies, and 40 per cent of her OnlyFans income was already ordered to be handed over earlier in the year. September 2024: In another massive financial blow, the sale of 'Mucky Mansion' is said to have fallen through in September 2024, with the buyer backing out of the agreement. Katie also shocked fans with a new 'butterfly' pout, after undergoing a cosmetic procedure to change the shape of her lips. October 2024: The price of Katie's mansion was slashed by a whopping £150,000 after the previous sale fell through to £1.35 million. Katie bought the nine-bedroom home back in 2014 for £1.35 million, so cutting the price all the way back to this point is likely because of how keen she was to attract a new buyer and curtail some of her bankruptcy issues. November 2024: In November, Katie showed off the results of a wrinkle-reducing treatment she had undergone at a cosmetic clinic, only months after her latest £10,000 facelift. December 2024: In December Katie reunited with old pal Kerry Katona - who acted as one of her bridesmaids in her wedding to ex-husband Peter Andre - with the pair starring in the festive panto of Cinderella together as the 'Ugly Stepsisters'. The friends, who are said to be "like sisters", even moved in together for a time. Sources claimed that the old friends were even considering making a reality TV show together. During the festive period, JJ Slater, Katie's boyfriend of nearly a year, was nowhere to be seen as it is reported they celebrated the Christmas season seperately, sparking rumours that all wasn't well in their relationship. In an interview with Closer magazine, Katie said about the year she had been through: "2024 has been like weighing scales. But I chose to get rid of all toxicness around me, and it makes a massive difference." January 2025: Katie unveiled yet more 'tweakments' in January 2025, once again heading to Turkey to undergo the procedures. The OnlyFans star is no stranger to going under the knife, having reportedly undergone an incredible 17 boob jobs over the years, but she admitted on her social media that she finds the injections the scariest part. "From my last surgery, there are just a few little bits that I want tweaking. Well, they need tweaking. So here I am getting ready. That's the worst bit for me, the needle. The needle's done, so now I can relax," she explained. Katie was pictured with bandages over her ears and nose as well as her temples, leading some to speculate she had undergone some kind of 'fox eye' procedure, but she didn't reveal exactly what work she had done. She also released a new TV show - Making Babies - about her unsuccessful fertility journey with her former partner Carl Woods, something that landed mixed reviews, with the Guardian calling it "repugnant". February 2025 Katie's bankruptcy hearing was finally discharged, which meant the public examination of her finances was complete. "I'm so happy. I can finally move on and put these bankruptcies behind me, and now only focus on the positive. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this process," she said at the time. March 2025 Katie made a heartbreaking admission to the BBC in March that her daughter Princess, who she shares with Peter Andre, has been "put off" plastic surgery for good after seeing how many times Katie has gone under the knife. "She's been put off [surgery] for life, seeing what I go through," she said. "She goes 'mum, you don't need it, look how pretty you were' and I'm like 'oh no, I look so ugly'." Katie added, "I've never thought I was pretty. If I did, I wouldn't do all this stuff to myself, would I?" April 2025: In April, Katie got back onstage and performed in a special adults-only Easter pantomime of Pinocchio alongside Bobby Davro and Casualty actress Amanda Henderson, though tickets are reported not to have sold as well as initially hoped. She also revealed more dramatic changes to her appearance, having had work to remove her tattooed eyebrows, something she said she had received lots of "trolling" about and had faded after years of micro-blading. May 2025: This month, as she approached her 47th birthday, Katie opened up about the rumours that had been plaguing her romance with JJ Slater - after her rep told The Mirror the pair were still together - explaining on a podcast that she had never felt "free" within her romantic relationships. "I've never had that in any relationship. Never had any of them. And JJ, he's the most kind, genuine, easygoing, chilled person. But do I feel my happiest, and do I feel free? No. It's not a reflection on him, maybe that's what I need to change for myself," she said. Katie added that she thought the pair possibly spent too much time together, "They've always had a job where, I suppose, it's adaptable that they come with me. So in the beginning, that's all nice, but then you get into the habit of they're about too much, to the point you start not seeing your friends, because you're with them all the time, and then you get into this situation where they're so used to being with you all the time that then when you do say, 'I'm gonna go and see a friend,' it doesn't seem normal because you haven't done it. "So I'm a bit worried that I've got like that with JJ."

Jodie Marsh's unrecognisable new look as she forks out £24k a month to run farm
Two decades after rising to fame, former Page Three model Jodie Marsh has swapped the world of showbiz for a simpler life over on Fripps Farm as she pours her passion into helping animals Jodie Marsh 'livid' over alleged sheep poisoning on her farm Jodie Marsh may have risen to fame in the early noughties as a Page Three glamour model, but more than two decades on, she lives a very different life away from the world of red carpets and paparazzi. Back in the noughties, the 46-year-old TV personality was known for her outlandish outfits and rivalry with fellow lads' mags heavyweight Katie Price, though now she can be found living a simpler life on her beloved farm. As part of her new lifestyle, Essex-born Jodie has poured her passion for helping animals into her dedicated sanctuary Fripps Farm, which she opened in 2020, and gives fans a peek inside her work over on Instagram. Today, Jodie's sanctuary has come under the spotlight as she is set to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court to appeal against a decision of Uttlesford District Council to refuse an application to keep lemurs at her private sanctuary. With that in mind, here the Mirror takes a look at the Celebrity Big Brother star's life now away from the cameras… Relaxed look The staunch animal rights activist is now enjoying life on her farm after launching her own animal sanctuary Fripps Farm in Great Dunmow, Essex. In a snap from last year, Jodie looked unrecognisable as she posed at her sanctuary with pals including EastEnders star Jessie Wallace. Jodie was seen make-up-free with her bleached hair tied back into a ponytail while wearing a jumper which read: "Stop Eating Dead Animals". In the early days of the farm, Jodie turned to OnlyFans and glamour modelling to help pay the bills. She told Mail Online: "Before we became a C.I.C (Community Interest Company) I was funding it all myself and I did it by doing OnlyFans. The perimeter fence alone for securing the animals cost £60,000 so I had to pay for that with OnlyFans. My boobs paid for the fences and they also paid the staff's wages!" Going skint In a chat with MailOnline in November 2024, Jodie revealed more about her finances, admitting that work dried up when she was forced to step back from the limelight. She said she became sick of trolls 'being nasty', but then she reached a point where she could no longer afford her mortgage. "I couldn't pay any bills. I was completely skint. I was really in a mess," she said. She turned to the self-help book The Secret for motivation and began writing a gratitude journal. She penned that she wanted to get her hands on a brand new Audi Q7, and two years later, she did just that. She started making her money with American bodybuilding, and was soon named champion as she competed for cash. £24k a month to pay for her farm After swapping glitzy parties and showbiz spats for a more peaceful life running Fripps Farm Animal Sanctuary, she reportedly rakes in thousands through her OnlyFans account to keep her passion afloat. Jodie explained: "We needed to put perimeter fencing around the whole entire farm, and that cost £65,000. I funded that entire thing from my OnlyFans. For the first year my OnlyFans also paid all my staff. I never took a penny for myself. "Now, I probably only make a couple of grand a month on it, because I've been really slack on it because I'm so busy with the animals. But I'm back posting again so that should shoot up again now. Back when I was paying the staff wages I was earning around £10,000 a month." The TV personality revealed the monthly costs are a whopping £24,000—and this is before vet bills. Running a farm often comes with surprise costs, with Jodie claiming she once spent £20,000 alone on rescuing pony Maximus, who had been left to die on the side of the road. Luckily, her fans and followers of the farm have stepped up in their time of need, with them often relying on donations. "We couldn't have done it without them," she told MailOnline. Single life Last year Jodie revealed she'd split from her builder boyfriend Mark, just three months after claiming he was her "first adult" relationship. In March 2024, she posted a series of modelling photos to Instagram, writing: "I think this sums up why I'll never find a life partner. "I want a lovely calm, happy, peaceful life, rescuing animals. I want to lay on the sofa and read books and listen to music. I want to plant rose bushes in the garden and I'm actually quite boring. I need a man who understands that my life isn't all glam and craziness. Someone who wants to chill with me and realises that I can be quite boring but who enjoys the quiet times. I need a man who understands I live a simple life in the countryside.'" Mark worked as a builder at her animal sanctuary and Jodie previously told Mail Online she was in her first "adult relationship". "I've had a lot of ag with boyfriends. I've not had a good time in the past with men. I've been targeted by con men who have pretended to be one thing and then, and then actually their true colours have shown and they're not who they say they are at all. But also I've made bad choices in the past, but we all do when it's matters of the heart," she said. Her split comes after two failed marriages. She first tied the knot to James Peacock in 2007 after the pair met on the reality show Totally Jodie Marsh: Who'll Take Her Up the Aisle? However they parted ways just two months later. In 2016, she was then married for eight months to James Placido. The former model was also engaged to DJ David Doyle in 2006 after just 11 days of dating, but the couple called it quits just weeks later. Mum's traumatic death It was with a heavy heart that Jodie announced the death of her beloved mum Kristina in September 2020 from cancer. Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "My beautiful, classy, kind, generous, clever, incredible mum passed away this morning. She was my best friend and the strongest woman I know. "She was the best mum in the world and the best human you could ever wish to know. I love you so so much mum. How do I do this without you?" Just four months before, Jodie told how her mum had been 'turfed out of hospital' because of the coronavirus pandemic despite battling an aggressive form of cancer, and admitted she was 'fading fast' at home. In January 2021, she bravely shared her grief with fans, revealing she was struggling to cope under the weight of the grief. "Today has been a rough day for me. I've felt angry and frustrated all day, until eventually I had a melt down/outburst and then deep crying sobs. I am really struggling today," she told her Instagram followers. "I miss mum so much and it feels like as the world carries on; I'm supposed to just be normal and fine when I don't feel it at all. Inside I'm broken and trying every day to hold it together. I'm also trying to be strong for those around me. I know I don't have to be but I WANT to be. Anyway, I don't want sympathy, I just wanted to share how I'm feeling." The reality star added: "I've been crying since about 3pm and I can't stop. And that's ok. It's ok to cry and it's normal to grieve. It's good to talk about it." Katie Price olive branch In 2021, Katie Price reignited her decades-old feud with Jodie by branding her a 'nobody' in her bombshell book, Harvey And Me. The former glamour model took aim at her longtime nemesis in the pages of her autobiography, calling her 'the lowest of the low' for dating Katie's ex after she met Peter Andre on I'm A Celebrity. "I met my first husband Peter Andre when I was in the jungle," Katie wrote. "I had a couple of relationships when Harvey was a baby, and I was with a guy called Scott Sullivan at the time. But you know me there's always some drama, I had actually split up with him just before I did the show, so it wasn't just like I bunny hopped to another man. "And then Scott went to the lowest of the low and got with Jodie Marsh." Over the years there has been some major mud-slinging between the two women, with Katie once claiming Jodie slept with "nearly all my leftovers and not one of them wanted you." She also mocked Jodie's appearance, comparing her rival's nose to 'a builder's elbow'. In retaliation, Jodie hit out at Katie's 'Bond villain teeth', retweeting a meme of Katie's gnashers with a series of laughing emojis. But in a turn of events, earlier this year in April 2024, Jodie showed her support to the mum-of-five in one of her latest Instagram posts. Katie shared a video where she talked about a product that helps her cope with stress. Jodie commented: "I use it too it's amazing." Fans flooded her comment with likes as they appeared to take the remark as a sign they could become friends. It was the first time Jodie broke her silence after Katie appeared to extend an olive branch. Speaking on her Katie Price Show podcast, she said: "I've never had a problem with her [Jodie] and I always say to people, we'd probably get on because we both love animals, horses. We've both been through the mill. I don't actually have a problem with her and never had and if she reached out. Imagine if me and her did an OnlyFans shoot, that would be one for the thing wouldn't it. I wouldn't rule that out, if Jodie wanted to do an OnlyFans shoot." In an interview with the Mail Online, Jodie pleaded with Katie to "stop spending money", as her former nemesis is declared bankrupt for the second time. Jodie urged: "She can still earn. Go out and graft and keep the money. Just stop spending, especially on plastic surgery."
