Two hurt in Sunday morning rollover near Byron
May 11—BYRON, Minn. — Two people were hurt when the driver of a car drove off the roadway on U.S. Highway 14 the morning of Sunday, May 11 between Byron and Rochester.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Pal Dak Wal, 20, of Albert Lea, was driving a 2014 Ford Fusion heading west in Kalmar Township when he drove off the highway into the median rolling the car.
Pal Dak Wal, and passenger Maatwal Dak Wal, 21, of Albert Lea, suffered minor injuries, according to the report.
Both were taken to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office and Byron Fire department also responded to the crash and assisted the Minnesota State Patrol.
