Analyst Explains Why Will Howard Fell to Steelers
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are viewing Will Howard as a piece they shouldn't have gotten in the sixth-round of the NFL Draft, but are thankful they did. Even with the quarterback group falling a very strange way, the Steelers had their eyes on Howard the whole time, and when they finally got done waiting, they added a player many view as having higher upside than his draft selection indicates. The 33rd Team's Steve Palazzolo recently appeared on 93.7 The Fan and had a lot of the same questions tossed his way. Everyone in Pittsburgh wants to know if the Steelers just landed a steal at the quarterback position, and would love to know how Howard even ended up in the sixth round of the draft. "I don't know if there's anything specific fatally as far as the flaw, it's just inconsistency. The same description can be used on [Jalen] Milroe," Palazzolo said. "There was some games where his accuracy is all over the place… He will overthrow receivers over the middle of the field a couple times a game it seems. "And his arm is not great. It's good. I think he's been touted as having a big arm, but it's not great. It's fine. And the athleticism is kind of like a lower-end Daniel Jones." Howard is 6-foot-4, 235 pounds and threw for 4,010 yards and 35 touchdowns his final season at Ohio State, leading the NCAA in both categories. He finished his career with 9,796 yards and 83 touchdowns, and looked to have played his best football in the College Football Playoffs. Still, not everyone was sold on Howard coming into the NFL Draft, and Palazzolo seems to know that his arm hurt him. "I think his velocity, I think his arm strength is okay, and I think that's a big part of it as well as the inconsistency," Palazzolo said. "If you want to dock him, his accuracy was all over the place at Kansas State and maybe it got better this year, but that's throwing to Jeremiah Smith and Emeka Egbuka [with] Chip Kelly calling the plays. If you wanted to dock him, you would say he was more of a passenger than the driver for that Ohio State offense." Pittsburgh is still waiting for Aaron Rodgers and is confident they'll end up with him as their starting quarterback this season. Howard will get a shot to compete with Mason Rudolph for the backup job, and in the future, who knows what his opportunities are. Some want him to start this season or next. Others want another quarterback to come earlier in the NFL Draft next year. But only time will tell if Howard is able to put the worries about his game aside and prove to be a winning NFL QB. Pineda didn't share any additional news, including the due date or the baby's sex. At the time, fans of the show were speculating about the status of her relationship with Palazzolo. Although the couple was still together on the show, fans noticed that Palazzolo was missing from Pineda's social media platforms. On a Dec. 23 episode of 90 Day: The Last Resort, Pineda revealed that she was interested in adding a third person to their relationship. The topic came about while the six couples at the retreat were asked to answer some serious questions about their sex lives. Palazzolo also expressed an interest in bringing in a third person to fulfill some of his bedroom fantasies, but Pineda was more interested in having an open relationship. Pineda quietly tied the knot with Palazzolo in June 2023 in an intimate wedding in Michigan attended by just 12 loved ones. "Jasmine wanted a destination wedding initially, but we eventually agreed upon a small wedding with close family," Palazzolo told PEOPLE. While the couple said that planning their big day was "stressful" because they only had a couple of months to pull it off, everything turned out beautifully. '90 Day Fiancé' star Jasmine Pineda announces she's expecting a baby with boyfriend
Jasmine Pineda, known for appearing on "90 Day Fiancé" and its spinoffs on TLC, announced Tuesday she's expecting a baby with her boyfriend. "I have very special news for you,' Pineda said, smiling and cradling her belly in an announcement video. 'I am pregnant. I am so happy and excited and I cannot wait to meet my beautiful baby.' Her child's father, Matt Branistareanu, also shared a photo from the pair's maternity shoot on Instagram. The news comes after Pineda and Gino Palazzolo's relationship was documented on the show. Pineda, who is from Panama, and Palazzolo met online while she was still married, according to TLC, and dated long distance for about eight months before meeting in Panama. Pineda's divorce was eventually finalized and she and Palazzolo married in June 2023 at Zingerman's Cornman Farms in Dexter, Michigan, according to TLC. Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle. Pineda has two sons already, and Palazzolo previously told TLC that the couple planned to bring her children to the U.S. and possibly have a third child. Pregnancy comes after hurdles in Pineda and Palazzolo's relationship So far, "90 Day" fans have watched Pineda and Palazzolo try to work out issues such as cheating allegations, controlling behavior and most recently, a lack of intimacy during Season 2 of '90 Day: The Last Resort.' According to TLC, Pineda previously kept tabs on Palazzolo due to their distance in their relationship. She often asked him to report back what he was up to and sometimes the pair video-chatted when he went to pick up food so she could see who he was talking to. While together in Panama, the couple spent time with a friend, who started talking about the possibility of having children. According to TLC, Palazzolo was ready to have children with Pineda, but she wasn't ready and was taking birth control pills. Another issue the couple faced was a betrayal on Palazzolo's part. According to TLC, he sent explicit photos of Pineda to his ex, who sent screenshots to Pineda herself. 'Jasmine was absolutely devastated,' TLC wrote on its website. Still, the couple hashed out their issues and he proposed. Intimacy and baby issues rise to the surface The couple's intimacy issues rose to the surface during the '90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' Season 5 tell all, TLC reported. During the next season, the pair argued over whether they'd sign prenups. While Jasmine ultimately would've been OK signing one if he asked again, he decided they could skip the entire process. The couple eventually appeared on '90 Day Fiance' Season 10, now living in Michigan together. As the pair worked to bring her sons to the states, they ran into a few snags, including a paperwork issue that would delay the process. 'Jasmine was devastated and begged Gino to pay their lawyer to help,' TLC said on its website. 'However, Gino said he couldn't afford the lawyers fees and wanted to handle it himself.' The baby conversation also came up again, and she told him she wasn't sure if she wanted more children. The pair decided to talk more about it later. He later told her he wanted to pause the paperwork to bring her sons to the states until they worked on their marriage more, TLC reported. 'The Last Resort' and Matt's introduction While filming '90 Day: The Last Resort,' Pineda, now 37, and Palazzolo, 55, discussed a topic they'd been feuding over for some time: the bachelor party he had at a strip club. She found out about it from other people, not her beau. When Pineda asked him more about what happened, he said "I wished I'd told you I was going to have a bachelor party and that I didn't touch any of the girls in a way that hurt you." According to Palazzolo, the bachelor party marked a horrible turning point for their relationship. 'That caused a lot of problems,' he said during his confessional. 'More fighting. Less communication. We stopped sleeping in the same bed together. After that happened, our bond went to pretty much zero.' Pineda said she appreciated her husband's apology and said she agreed to appear on the show to leave the past in the past and start anew. Still, the couple hadn't made progress regarding intimacy, she said. Pineda previously suggested open relationship Branistareanu, the father of Pineda's child, appeared on the show as her friend and caught up with her via video chat. She told him she was open with Palazzolo about wanting an open relationship, possibly with Branistareanu. She also allowed him to meet other cast members via video chat during Season 2, episode 12, allowing them to question Branistareanu a bit about his intentions. 'We're good friends,' he said. 'If something was ever to happen, that would be cool with me but when people get married, there's going to be ups and downs. I want to see her happy … If Jasmine needs me, she knows where to find me.' Season 2 of '90 Day: The Last Resort' is available to stream on apps such as Hulu, Max and Discovery Plus.
