Hailey Bieber Styles Multiple Controversial Trends In One Outfit
Forget prudently dipping your toes into the bolder styles of 2025, Hailey Bieber is diving right into the deep end, having taken some of the year's more divisive trends and combining them for an outing in New York City. This weekend, Bieber was seen in a pair of (now sold out) black and white polka dot capri pants from Spanish label Paloma Wool. Known typically to keep her looks understated, this is certainly one of the model's more daring sartorial moments. The capri pant—associated with nostalgic muses such as Audrey Hepburn, as well as the kitschier 2000s—has been making its return to wardrobes, as seen on the likes of Bella Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, Emily Ratajkowski, and the Rhode founder herself on many occasions. Instead of the black capri leggings she and her contemporaries usually opt for, Bieber brought 2025's standout print of polka dots into the mix. Another debated but enduring trend in recent years has been seen on tastemakers such as Kaia Gerber and Olivia Rodrigo. To add to the sartorial risk, she completed the outfit with heeled thong sandals by Totême—love them or hate them, they're not going anywhere. However, she didn't stray too far from her refined minimalist style. The beauty mogul grounded the look with other 90s staples, including a black sleeveless top and a mini square bag by The Row in the same shade. Her only accessories were a gold watch, oval sunglasses, and her wedding ring, letting the hero piece of the outfit shine. Bieber is not one to knock a trend. From barrel jeans to the office siren look, and now this, the model can always be counted on to give us her own chic iteration of what's in Vogue.

Hailey Bieber Effortlessly Styled Three of Summer's Biggest Trends in One Outfit
All products featured on Glamour are independently selected by Glamour editors. However, when you buy something through our retail links, Condé Nast may earn an affiliate commission. Getty Leave it to Hailey Bieber, our undisputed Queen of Trends, to style three of this summer's most popular (and most controversial) micro-trends and make it look effortless. On June 21st, the Rhode Skin founder was photographed in New York City wearing polka dots, skinny capris, and heeled flip-flops to create the most specifically summer-of-2025 outfit ever devised by influencer or stylist. The hero piece of the outfit is clearly the white capri leggings with their oversized black polka dot pattern from Paloma Wool. Bieber has been leading the capri pants vanguard, which made a triumphant return to mainstream fashion after most of us thought they'd gone the way of the gaucho. Capris—specifically styles like this that hug the thigh and end just below the knee—last had their moment in the sun in the mid-2000s. Now, they have been embraced by everyone from Emma Stone to Bella Hadid to Meghan Markle. Polka dots are, obviously, not nearly as controversial a fashion choice as capris, but the pattern is also having a trendy moment of its own. Celebs like Sydney Sweeney and Kaia Gerber have both been seen rocking polka dot dresses recently, bringing the classic motif into the current era. Kitten heel flip-flops, however, are definitely not timeless. Like the skinny capri pants Bieber wears here, the last time heeled thong sandals were popular was the mid-aughts. But now, they are one of the summer's hottest trends, even for office-wear. We've seen heeled flip-flops like Bieber's from mid-range brands like Madewell and Reformation, as well as from more luxury labels like Toteme. Hailey Bieber completed her trend-heavy ensemble with a simple black tank, a black mini bag, narrow black sunglasses, and a single gold watch. Naturally, Bieber's look also stayed true to the barely-there pedicure trend that she herself helped to start. The only way Bieber's ensemble could be any more of-the-moment is if she had a Labubu with her. Originally Appeared on Glamour

Hailey Bieber Combines Two Major (And Divisive) Summer Trends in One Outfit
Hailey Bieber made her way back to one of her favorite lunch spots, the celebrity haunt Bar Pitti—where often, you'll catch Bieber, Kendall Jenner, or a Hadid sister—yesterday (June 21). This time saw Bieber experiment with two of this summer's most proponent—and divisive—trends. The Rhode founder and model stepped out wearing a pair of white and black polka dot capri pants from Spanish cool girl brand Paloma Wool, pairing the statement trousers with a plain black sleeveless top, square-toed thong sandals, and a structured square mini handbag. Other accessories were minimal, with a thin strapped gold watch and some oval sunglasses. Bieber was photographed leaving the restaurant with her friend, musician Justine Skye—who she most recently enjoyed a girls trip to the wine country with. In terms of beauty, Bieber kept it low-key, with her long brunette hair kept loose and natural, and her still painted frosé nails. Photo: Backgrid It was a look that was a little bit off the usual beaten path for the Hailey Bieber school of style, given the statement print. But polka dots have abounded across the last few seasons—from the runways of Moschino and Rodarte in the forms of dotted, floaty, feminine dresses perfect for summer, to Bode's twists on the dotty pattern, Brandon Maxwell's artistic interpretation of the print, and Talia Byre's Dalmatian spots. Still, the controversial capri pant silhouette has been a staple Bieber has been enjoying, as is the barely there shoe, and the oval set of shades. If capri pants are good enough for the Olsen twins on The Row's runways, and while we're all reveling in a summer inspired by Audrey Hepburn's Sabrina, the silhouette makes even more sense for Hailey Bieber. It's not just Bieber, either: Bella Hadid and Zoe Kravitz are also proponents of the pedal pusher revival. A golden tan doesn't hurt when you're going for a white-based statement print either. Seeing spots? Add to cart.
