Pangaia launches plant-based activewear collection
Materials science company Pangaia has unveiled its most advanced plant-based activewear collection to date, marking an industry first. Dubbed "365 Seamless Activewear', the collection features a next-generation material system combining 100% bio-based Evo Nylon, by Fulgar from plants and renewable sources, with Hyosung's regen Bio Max elastane, made with a polymer composed of 98% renewable resources. Pangaia is the first brand globally to incorporate regen Bio Max elastane into a commercial activewear range. The fibre replaces nearly all fossil-fuel inputs to deliver a 27% lower carbon footprint and 82% less ozone depletion than conventional spandex. Each piece is then finished with Ppprmt, its peppermint oil-based odour-control treatment that helps garments stay fresher for longer and reduces the need for frequent washing. The launch collection features five minimal, foundational styles with seamless construction to contour the body for a second-skin fit. Offered in Black, Gaia Blue, and Dewy Rose, the palette evokes the purity of earth, sky, and bloom. Styles include a ribbed tank top, long and short sleeve tops, and compressive leggings and shorts.

Pangaia launches new campaign celebrating "changemakers"
Pangaia, the sustainable fashion brand based in London and New York, has unveiled a global campaign celebrating "changemakers" and "the power of people shaping an Earth Positive Future'. The series captures seven individuals whose work spans activism, sport, science, art, and design, 'redefining what it means to protect the planet'. Shot by photographer Lillie Eiger and styled by Anders Sølvsten Thomsen, we're told the campaign 'is an ode to purpose, told through portraiture and shaped by story'. The campaign stars include Imogen Grant, the British Olympic rowing champion and doctor advocating for clean rivers; Ugandan born UK-domiciled Dennis Okwera, a model, actor, and philanthropist, supporting children through the Lumule Foundation, which he founded to provide access to education and rebuild schools; and Dr Rosa Vásquez Espinoza a Peruvian chemical biologist, National Geographic Explorer, and Bee:wild ambassador, bridging Indigenous knowledge and molecular science. Also featured are London-based Hannah Da Silva, founder of GorpGirls, building inclusive outdoor communities for women; Himali Singh Soin, the artist and poet 'weaving climate, cosmology, and love' and who works between New Delhi and London; also-London-based Jaimus Tailor, designer and founder of Greater Goods; and British social media personality Kyle Thomas, a conservationist and youth ambassador 'using digital platforms for change'. The company said that 'each subject offers a lens into the power of intentional action. These stories are not about scale, they are about care, creativity, and commitment. Together, they form a portrait of our shared future: one rooted not in urgency, but in intention. These are stories of disruption. Of discipline. Of deep care'.
