Support local animal rescue at luncheon this weekend
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) – For the 15th year, the Lucky Puppy Rescue will be serving up plates of spaghetti while raising money for the organization at the Wicked Wheel in Panama City Beach on Saturday, March 8th.
At this year's 'Spay-getti Luncheon' attendees will have the chance to participate in raffles, a silent auction, enjoy great food and music, spend some time with some puppies, and so much more.
Lucky Puppy Rescue is a Panhandle-based non-profit that specializes in the rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs.
Operating costs can go as high as $40,000 a month for the rescue, so this event serves as their largest fundraiser of the year.

'100% of all proceeds go to the Lucky Puppy Rescue to continue to care for the dogs and continue to build the rescue and help up the community as a whole,' Lucky Puppy Rescue volunteer Steph Herring said.
The spaghetti plates will only be served between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and cost $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
The silent auction and raffles will begin as soon as the food stops being served, and the luncheon will conclude around 3 p.m.
Volunteers with the Lucky Puppy Rescue are asking those interested in attending Saturday's event to bring dog care items like food, bleach, and dish soap along with them to donate to the rescue.
The event will be held no matter the weather on Saturday.
