The viral clip that has surfaced on social media is an emotional clip of the former Minnesota House Speaker, who defended her controversial vote siding with Republicans to cut healthcare access for undocumented immigrants, saying that she did what leaders do.
"I stepped up and I got the job done for the people of Minnesota," she added. On the other hand, Melissa was only Democrat to vote in favour of the measure and since the video has surfaced on the internet, it quickly grabbed attention of netizens.

On Saturday, the former Democratic House Speaker Melissa Hortman, 55, and her husband were killed, and Sen. John Hoffman, 60, who was also a Democrat, and his wife were found wounded at different places on June 14.

The disturbing details were revealed from an audio of emergency calls. In the audio, it is quite clear that Hoffman had 'bleeding going on in his stomach,' while another has medical dispatchers from Hortman's residence saying one victim was going into cardiac arrest, while the other had passed away before they arrived, as per the files obtained by TMZ.
