The slice-of-life series, featuring Bharati Achrekar, Aanjjan Srivastav, Pariva Pranati , and Sumeet Raghavan in lead roles, was originally scheduled to wrap up on June 7. However, it has now been granted a three-month extension. Producer JD Majethia confirms the development. 'The news about the show ending was everywhere, but I had faith in it. We've now officially received an extension of three months,' he says. Recalling the team's reaction when the show was initially said to be wrapping up, he shares, 'The unit was understandably disappointed. When the final shoot date was approaching, Sumeet asked for an extra day just to close things properly. And now, we're back to filming for three more months. When I informed the team, it was received positively.' Majethia credits viewer support for this decision. 'A few days ago, I saw the hashtag '#SaveWagleKiDuniya' trending. That response did not go unnoticed. Audience feedback does influence decisions, and we're glad the show has got more time.'
