Kitchen knife confiscated from pupil at Kingswood primary school
A knife has been confiscated after being found in a primary school pupil's Park Primary School in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire, said staff "immediately" and "safely" took the knife after it was found on school confirmed the blade was a "standard kitchen knife".Head of school Paul Rowsell said: "We are taking this incident very seriously and working with the relevant agencies to manage this sensitively and to safeguard all the children and staff in the school." A South Gloucestershire Council spokesperson said: "We are supporting the school following the incident."Avon and Somerset Police has been approached for comment.
