10 concerts announced for Levitt AMP music series, including two as part of bigger On Broadway events

The Levitt AMP Green Bay Music Series will return to downtown for its third consecutive summer with an eclectic lineup of acts that spans Ukrainian folk-punk, female-driven bluegrass, Hmong rap and Latin folk-rock. On Broadway Inc. announced the 10 weekly concerts with a launch party April 29 at Titletown Brewing Co. in downtown Green Bay. As in years past, Leicht Memorial Park will be home to the free series, which features original music from nationally touring and local acts, with the exception of two concerts that will be held elsewhere as part of other On Broadway Inc. events. Chicago pop/indie rock band Brigitte Calls Me Baby will headline the igNight Market on June 21 on South Broadway. Bluesy Southern rockers Parker Barrow will perform in the Neville Public Museum parking lot for Fire Over the Fox on the Fourth of July. Brigitte Calls Me Baby, a Chicago band who has played Lollapalooza and "CBS Saturday Morning," will perform as part of the Levitt AMP Green Bay Music Series for the igNight Market on June 21 on South Broadway. This is the third and final year of the concert series hosted by On Broadway Inc. after it was awarded a $90,000 Levitt AMP Grant Award in 2022. The three-year matching grant provided $30,000 per year to host the series in 2023, 2024 and 2025. The purpose of the series is to bring free, original music to people of all ages and backgrounds as a way to transform underused public spaces into community destinations. Artists are selected with a focus on equity and inclusion. Blues-rock vocalist and guitarist Melody Angel has been described as a cross between Tina Turner and Jimi Hendrix. She'll be in concert June 15 at Leicht Memorial Park in downtown Green Bay. 2025 Levitt AMP Green Bay Music Series lineup June 1: Traveling Suitcase, with opener Maddie Batzli of LINE, 4-6:30 p.m. at Leicht Memorial Park (indie) June 8: David Yang, with opener Leedong, noon-6:30 p.m. at Leicht Memorial Park (Hmong) June 15: Melody Angel, with opener Awlo, 4-6:30 p.m. at Leicht Memorial Park (blues/rock) June 21: Brigitte Calls Me Baby , with openers Six Foot Blonde and Raine Stern, 5-10 p.m. at igNight Market on South Broadway (alternative/indie) June 29: Radio Free Honduras, with Grupo Kn Zavor, 4-6:30 p.m. at Leicht Memorial Park (Latin Americana) July 4: Parker Barrow, with openers The Talbott Brothers and Jordan Blanchard, 4-9:30 p.m. at Neville Public Museum parking lot for Fire Over the Fox (blues-infused Southern rock) July 13: Shamarr Allen, with opener Ill Genesi, 4-6:30 p.m. at Leicht Memorial Park (hip-hop/jazz/New Orleans) July 20: Fox Crossing Stringband, with opener Nikki Morgan, 4-6:30 p.m. at Leicht Memorial Park (bluegrass) July 27: Indigenous, with opener Dale Anderson, 4-6:30 p.m. at Leicht Memorial Park (Indigenous '90s rock) Aug. 3: Lemon Bucket Orkestra, with opener Amelia Ford Band, 4-6:30 p.m. at Leicht Memorial Park (Ukrainian folk-punk) Mato Nanji is frontman of blues-rock group Indigenous, which will perform July 27 at Leicht Memorial Park for the 2025 Levitt AMP Green Bay Music Series.
