Lakeview wins second D10 title in school history
SLIPPERY ROCK, PA. (WKBN) – Lakeview topped Rocky Grove 72-52 in the District 10 Class 2A Championship game on Friday at Slippery Rock University.
It is the Sailors' second District 10 title in school history and the first since 2020.
Lucas Fagley led the way with 25 points in the win for the Sailors. Parker Montgomery added 16 points, while Evan Resier scored 10, all of which came in the fourth quarter.
Rocky Grove was led by Noah Baughman who piled up 19 points. Connor Ritchey finished with 11, while Landon Carter chipped in with 10 points in the setback.
Lakeview will return to action in the first round of the PIAA Tournament which begins on Saturday, March 8.
