Six-year-old girl hit by car crossing a Seattle street
The Seattle Police Department says a six-year-old girl was hit by a car in the Central District while crossing the street. It happened just before noon near Rainier Avenue South and South Charles Street. Because of street construction at the intersection, an off-duty Parking Enforcement Officer saw the crash and quickly provided medical treatment to the child. The girl was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with critical injuries. Police say the girl and her mother were in a crosswalk at the time of the crash. The driver, an adult woman, stayed on scene and cooperated with police. Officers say she didn't show any signs of impairment, and she wasn't arrested.

Police search for man accused of pointing gun at Albuquerque Parking Enforcement officer
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police and Crime Stoppers are searching for a man accused of pointing a gun at a Parking Enforcement officer downtown. The man then walked to a Chevrolet pickup truck, got a gun inside, and waved it around before pointing it at the officer, according to Crime Stoppers. The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 35 years old, 5'9 tall, with red hair. Police said he was wearing a muscle shirt and dark blue pants. After the incident, he got into the pickup truck, drove over a curb, and sped away. Officials said the truck had an Indiana license plate 'TK8450QF'.
