Despite a shorter season, Grant thinks 'six weeks was enough' If Season 29 felt rushed, that's because at nine episodes, Grant's journey was two shorter than the last two "Bachelor" seasons. (Bachelor Nation hasn't seen a season this short since 2008.) Ellis confesses that as a typically decisive person, he would've liked "a little more time to be able to sit and think things through." The shorter filming schedule "definitely had an impact" on his experience, but despite having less time to process, he's resolute in knowing he'd made the right choice. "I'm happy with my decision," he says. "And if I had to go back. I'll pick the same thing a million times over. So I guess six weeks was enough." Pasquarosa certainly had enough of the jet-setting and worrying about whether the man she loved would choose her, too. "I don't think I would have lasted if it was any longer. I was ready to go home," she says. That might've been in part because she'd "burned to a crisp" during the last leg of their journey in the Dominican Republic. "I was spiraling in the sun and then I just sat there... And then I realized what was happening and I had to be on camera, and I wore a red dress," she laments. Ellis was nonetheless smitten. "She wears a tan really well," he says lovingly. Juliana will return to work, Grant looks forward to traveling Pasquarosa secured her job as a client service associate at a Newton, Massachusetts, salon three months before she left to film "The Bachelor." But her workplace has been "so supportive of me" during her foray into reality TV, she says. As things settle down, "I plan to go back and stick with them and do the best that I can to provide them a quality employee because that's the top priority," she says. "And I like the security of having a job." Ellis is proud of the work he's done in his five years as a day trader ‒ a job that now allows him to "do what I want when I want" ‒ and looks forward to exploring the world with Pasquarosa. And this time, without the constraints of the show, they can travel together. "We're going to be everywhere," he says.

Note: This story contains spoilers for 'The Bachelor' Season 29, Episode 9. Grant Ellis has reached the end of his time 'The Bachelor,' and the leading man found his other half. It wasn't an easy road to the engagement though, as Ellis struggled to decide which of his final two women — Litia Garr and Juliana Pasquarosa — he would chose to his partner. Ellis leaned on his parents, who reunited in the same room for the first time in years, as they met both Garr and Pasquarosa during the ABC reality dating show's finale. Ultimately, Ellis chose to send Garr home and gave his final rose to Pasquarosa. Ellis proposed to Pasquarosa in Punta Cana, and the pair are now engaged. Ellis started out on 'The Bachelor' Season 29 by courting 25 women, and gave his first impression rose to Alexe, a 27-year-old pediatric speech therapist from New Brunswick, Canada. By hometown dates, Ellis narrowed his final four women down to Garr, Pasquarosa, Dina Lupancu and Zoe McGrady. Ellis sent Lupancu home after hometown dates, and eventually bid farewell to McGrady after fantasy suites dates had Ellis spend the night with McGrady, Garr and Pasquarosa. 'All I can say is casting did a really good job with these ladies — they're one of a kind,' Ellis told TheWrap in an interview. 'It really was difficult for me at the end, just because I had two amazing women. And at the end of the day, I went with my heart.' The finale saw Ellis reunite with Garr to clear the air. She told him she was blindsided by his decision, but ultimately told him she doesn't think he's a bad guy and made the right choice for himself. And after sharing the proposal, Ellis and Pasquarosa joined Jesse Palmer to announce they are moving to Boston together and enjoying their engagement. Palmer also gifted the happy couple with a trip to Italy. Beyond the drama that unfolded on-screen this season, the 'Bachelor' franchise has been undergoing some shake ups, with showrunners Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner exiting the franchise ahead of the Season 29 finale amid reports of a toxic work environment. Additionally, the franchise has opted to skip the typical production cycle for 'The Bachelorette,' which typically airs in the summer. Before the finale wrapped up, the show offered a sneak peek into the new season of 'Bachelor in Paradise,' set to premiere this summer after taking a year off. The new season comes with a big twist, with Palmer revealing that cast members from 'Golden Bachelor' and 'Golden Bachelorette' will join the fun in Mexico alongside their younger counterparts.
