Payal Ghosh Speaks Out In a candid conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Payal became one of the first to publicly support Paresh Rawal amid the 'Hera Pheri 3' controversy. She admitted that she is not fully aware of the detailed issues surrounding the movie and preferred not to comment on them. However, she strongly disagreed with the media reports labeling Rawal as unprofessional. Having worked closely with him on 'Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi' and observed his work ethic firsthand, Payal confidently certified him as one of the most professional and sincere actors in the industry. A Career Built on Professionalism She expressed that, beyond her personal opinion, it is hard to believe that a man of Rawal's stature would have sustained such a long career in the industry if he were truly unprofessional. The Origin of the Controversy The controversy surrounding 'Hera Pheri 3' erupted after reports surfaced that Akshay Kumar's production house filed a lawsuit against Paresh Rawal, demanding 25 crores in damages. Payal Ghosh To Star In Krushna Abhishek's Thriller ‘Shaque – The Doubt'
Mumbai: Actress Payal Ghosh has been roped in to play the role of a blind woman in her next, "Shaque - The Doubt," where she will be sharing screen space with Krushna Abhishek yet again after their successful film "Fire Of Love: Red". Talking about playing a visually impaired woman, Payal revealed that she has taken inspiration from Rani Mukerji's critically acclaimed film "Black". She shared, "Well, this movie is a really exciting opportunity for me. This is the first time in my career where I am playing a character that is specially-abled or differently-abled. I love the challenge and I am ready to take on it. As far as inspiration is concerned, it has to be the one and only Rani Mukerji. I love her as an actress and how wonderful she was in the movie 'Black' when she played a blind woman. So yes, of course, I will have my own originality in place but she's definitely my inspiration for the same." Sharing her excitement about working with Krushna yet again, she added, "I am happy to reunite once again with Krushna who's a fantastic talent. It's a great and intriguing script that has the potential to grip the audience right from the very beginning. I am really excited and looking forward to the movie. Thankful for all the love and stay tuned." Made under the direction of Rajeev Chaudhari, "Shaque - The Doubt" will also have Shantanu Bhamare in a crucial role. Payal is credited with Bollywood movies such as "Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi" alongside the late Rishi Kapoor, and "Fire Of Love: Red". Speaking of the latter, directed by Ashok Tyagi, the movie sheds light on the life of a famous novelist Rajveer (Krushna) who gets lost between fiction and reality. "Fire Of Love: Red" reached the cinema halls on January 5, 2024.

Actor Payal Ghosh Calls Out Pakistani Actor's 'Begum' Comment After Pahalgam Attack: 'Don't Scare Me'
Payal Ghosh claimed a Pakistani actor-friend warned her to learn 'Ilm al-Kalam' before visiting Kashmir after the Pahalgam attack. She slammed the friend publicly. Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi actor Payal Ghosh has claimed that a Pakistani actor-friend warned her to learn 'Ilm al-Kalam' if she planned to visit Kashmir after the Pahalgam attack. For the unversed, 'Ilm al-Kalam' is the Islamic study of theology and philosophy that uses logic and reasoning to explain and defend religious beliefs. Payal had previously shared on social media that she had discussed her Kashmir travel plans with this friend, who then made the suggestion. Payal Ghosh had reportedly booked her tickets to Kashmir about a week before the attacks and is now unsure about making the trip. Things escalated when her friend told her to either learn 'Ilm al-Kalam' or be ready for serious consequences. After Payal spoke out about this on social media, the Pakistani actor further upset her by saying she should be ready to become a 'begum' (wife) to stay safe during her visit. Payal reacted strongly, slamming him publicly on her social media handle. Taking to her Instagram story, she wrote, 'I can't be anyone's begum. Don't scare me and give me threats I'll still come to Jammu and kashmir you can't give me these threats …I won't learn Ilm al-Kalam. Jai hind I love my Country (sic)." Take a look: On being asked more about it, Payal shared, 'The audacity of this person has reached a new low. He is trying to threaten me regarding my travel plans in my own country all the way from Pakistan. Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and I will definitely come there as per my plan. Such people are a disgrace to society." Previously, Payal condemned the ghastly attack on tourists at South of Kashmir's Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives. 'You know what. They thought Kashmiris are going to live a good life with tourists around.. so they won't get agitated by these militants anymore.. so they killed the innocent tourists to escalate the fear among tourists to visit Kashmir and also they are trying to separate us on the basis of religion.. hello a**h**es .. we are Indians irrespective of caste, creed, religion.. you can never divide us..
